The unit I have is relatively new and has had minimal use as I began traveling extensively soon after I made the purchase. It is very easy to use and completely automatic. I've also installed a water filter to this unit, something that's not even standard from the manufacturer. Extra growing trays will also be included. As I mentioned before I did not use the unit a lot but when I did get to use it the results were just magical. Date: September 12, 2006 04:50AM i've got a L'Equip 528 Dehydrator that i purchased for $110. definitely a different experience than the Excalibur, but interesting to experiment with. i've taken good care of it and it's clean. will let it go for $90. e-mail me if you're interested  Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
