COSTA RICA ORGANIC FARM

We welcome you to a raw food paradise! We are seeking a caretaker for short term or possible long term on our coffee and fruit farm in the Central Valley of Costa Rica. The farm is over 8 acres and is nature at its best. There are currently three pigs, a horse and eight rescue dogs on the farm. All are pets.

We can offer some type of work/stay program and are open to other possible arrangements. Prefer applicants to be open to live a vegetarian lifestyle, great if vegan. It is easy to be raw vegan here on the property. We have a sincere admiration for all living things and try to promote a healthy way of being.

We only ask that an applicant do the same work we ourselves do as well. Work could be feeding animals, working in the garden, repairing fences, processing coffee, helping out at the on-site vegan cafe, selling organic produce, etc. Ways to make some extra cash while here could be giving English lessons, massage therapy for those trained, yoga or exercise classes to locals and much more.

It is important to work and have fun too! There will be time for hiking in the nearby wildlife reserve, white water rapids on the rivers only minutes away, visiting the volcanoes and learning about the traditional culture of Costa Rica.

We seek energetic, open-minded and adventurous people willing to share ideas and learn together about a holistic life on earth.

The farm is located in a small rural village in the mountains with a moderate temperature year-round. The Caribbean coast is about a 2 hr. drive. No worries if you don't know Spanish, because you will have opportunity to learn while here. All the neighbors are friendly Ticos and always helpful.
