LaV, yes, it's Wagner. It's the ending to Tristan and Isolde. They were lovers who never quite consumated in life, all these tragic things happened and then he died in her arms. In this aria, immediately after his death, she sees him in a vision, he comes to her, he penetrates her, she dies of sexual ecstasy, this is almost clinical in detail as the aria unfolds. Liebestod = love/death. It's one of the highest achievements in Western civ.
