Seriously. I'm concerned, girl. Your responses tonight (you know which ones) are freakin' me out.

Lois, you have friends here, self included. I don't know what to say beyond that.

Love,

Huh?

Omega just insulted me and accused me of 'spreading fear, paranoia and negativity', so I'm just showing that he has and does and is spreading as much 'fear, paranoia and negativity' as I do.

Is that what you're referring to?

Lois , you could have just as easily started a single thread linking every single post that omega has made ... and duked it out with him/her there

instead you start spam bumping topics ..

please stop... take a deep breath .. and see what you are doing is pointless and its annoying to the rest of us who have other topics to read in OT

and seriously if you really believ that you are spreading as much fear , paranoia and negativity as Omega is . ... how is that healthy or productive ?

take it to private message, what you are doing is clogging up the board with your personal nonsense that none of us need to be subjected to.

Well, then it would look like I'm allowing myself to be abused. And in PM, he would be free to let loose and abuse me to his heart's content. That's like if a patron is eating in a restaurant and a criminal stabs him in front of everybody, then the owner puts them both out in the back alley, and the criminal with the knife can go ahead and kill the patron or rape her or whatever he wants to do. Omega Insulted me in the open in front of everyone, so I should be able to defend myself in front of everyone.

I see your point Lois.

Maybe after Omega, or whomever, is rude you could just write something like "It is not OK for you to write rude things like that to me." No one is alone here.

Many of us are not going to tolerate it. So if you are not civil toward anyone, we are on to you. It has nothing to do with beliefs or ideas, all those who are respectful deserve respect in return.

Peace,
Kise'

No, it would look like you are a reasonable person who doesn't get bothered by mere words on a screen.

Fine, you could ignore those too.

Pixels on a screen are not a stabbing.

Yes, Lois. There must be something wrong with you if you're actually questioning the sanctioned thought of the popular kids on an internet message board. Seriously, seek help ASAP.

That's right girl! You say it! We all know you've never clogged any boards with you're special brand of inanity, least of all on threads dealing with English bimbos and their take on raw kids. You are not a hypocrite at all!

Good advice Dave. I have to say this statement "Pixels on a screen are not a stabbing." is irrelevent because abuse is abuse, whether verbal or physical. It is against the rules and some of us will not allow it.

"There must be something wrong with you if you're actually questioning the sanctioned thought of the popular kids on an internet message board. Seriously, seek help ASAP."

This is an example of a verbal attack! I/we have had enough of this so take it out. As I wrote in a previous thread, it is offensive to all who have to read it. It is against the rules and some of us will not allow it.

This forum is for all of us, be civil!!

Or as my husband sometimes says, in more mainstreet, down-to-earth language, "Aw, don't let it bother you. Consider the source."

Tell Jonathan that's a clever phrase.

Your husband? Do you usually call him that? It struck me as different. I thought you called him your partner, or something. I like partner. My friend Tracy uses partner. He actually is her business partner too though. Funny, two meanings.

Pakd--
You're very astute! We've been together 20 years, but we're not married. So sometimes I call him my partner, and sometimes I call him my husband.
