Date: October 20, 2008 03:09PM lol Off the top of my head, it's a little difficult to say exactly where Nietzsche says this, because really it's part of his philosophy as a whole, and also I do need to say that this is my interpretation of Nietzsche which could be very different from another interpretation, but I do believe that this is part of what he meant when he wrote "Thus Spoke Zarathustra." It's truly a wonderful story. This is the book I would read to get a good dose of Nietzsche. "Beyond Good and Evil" is pretty good to, but it doesn't have the story format that "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" has. So if your look for just strict philosophy, "Beyond Good and Evil" is the way to go, and if you want something with a storyline, then "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" is better. Hope that helps. lol Re: self love

Impossibility of self love arises from misunderstanding who the self is. Discarding the illusion of self, there is no lover and beloved, Only the love is real. Re: self love
