For the faithful

Date: October 24, 2007 09:21PM I'm looking for a religion that fits my lifestyle. I was raised Roman Catholic, but I disagree with too many of the teachings. Anyway, I'd like to find a religion that promotes vegetarianism (at least). Do you know of any, or do you overlook this aspect of what your church teaches? What have you found works for you? Thanks for sharing. Re: For the faithful

Date: October 25, 2007 02:59PM Hi Daisyduke,
I'm glad that you actually asked that questions. =) For me, I think that Buddism is the most suitable religion for humans (all living beings in fact). In Buddism, there are also many things to learn, but I put my focus on Pure Land Buddhism. What we do is just simple, eat a vegan diet and chant the name of Buddha - Namo Amitabha. At the moment you die, Amitabha Buddha will come and bring you to Pure Land. No offence to other religions though. All the Best, Wong Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/25/2007 03:02PM by blue_sky.
