Date: October 05, 2008 06:28PM hehe i got to thinking that despite some lousy times in my life there were really some great times too ... i think sometimes i think so hard about the bad things that the good things get pushed so far to the edges i cant see them anymore
but some good things i remember - going to my italian grandmas house in the summertime and she had the hugest fruit and vegetable and flower gardens front and back of her house ..no square inch was wasted lol ...all the colors ..reds, blues, purples, greens, oranges, yellows .. it was like someone from technicolor came in and painted the place hehe ... and sitting watching her make hand made gnochii ... waiting waiting waiting for it to be done so we could eat it ... then she would give me and my brother both a 1$ and tell us to go buy a treat at the store and bring back the change !! haha .. yep .. good times ...Jodi, the banana eating buddhist Re: waxing nostalgic

this thread should be elongated indefinetely truly it should okay, here is a happy memory of mine i saw three deers at a beautiful forest once they were three just loping about they didn't have the big antler things on them so they were probably all female and they were so quiet i was hiking with a friend of mine and we were quiet and stopped walking and talking when we saw them appear seemingly out of the blue they just appeared and it just made everything seem magical the very molecules of air around us seemed more crips, sharp, lucid, clear we barely breathed or spoke to one another until they finally loped away that was a good memory and so was going to Yosemite national forest and seeing the King's River ( think that is what it was called... ) it was seemingly rushing rushing rushingggggg i wuz a kid then so that is what it seemed to me maybe it has changed i hope it is still rushing but then again, everything seemed grand and big to me back then another memory playing in the jungle gym hanging upside down by my knees then flipping upright again like a lil gymnast tadahhhhh!! another memory: birthday parties and running around in the sprinklers cuz it was hot and there was nothing else to do but run around in the sprinklers on my birthday i stepped on a bee it stung me but i got over it it hurt though LOL that wasn't a happy memory but the birthday party was i got some presents it seemed like such a big deal back then and now? i only remember one present it was a little purple pink purse that had a horse on it ( ha ha playing tennis at the park not caring really who won the game just hitting the ball and feeling fine riding my bike around the block over and over and OVER again riding my bike up a very steep hill and them screaming on my way down halloween parties telling scary ghost stories feeling scared feeling safe feeling giddy feeling happy Re: waxing nostalgic

reading a book on raw foods and realizing that moment that a golden key had been placed into my hand and all i had to do was take the key and open the door and i did having my first veggie juice drinking it and thinking it tasted deelish making my first fruit dinner with blended fruits and cut up fruits and feeling like " i could do this!" happy moments they never end i never get tired of planning them, creating them and thinking about them Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
