Date: October 11, 2008 03:59AM any SIMPLE inexpensive fresh food ingredients i could use to make the above?
something that would take 5 minutes max, using just a blender? the only one i know for facial cleanser is apple sauce : works really well and feels refreshing lotion? not sure which fresh food ingredient would work .. i don't wanna buy coco butter. evanhealy sells it but its like 20 bucks for a tiny jar even though their product is pretty good. no thanks.. no essential oils either just fresh foods i could put in my blender any ideas? Date: October 11, 2008 04:36AM I use coconut oil for lotion and to smooth my hair (anti-frizz).
I always think about using mud as a facial cleanser. I would have to make clean mud. Maybe like mud from the garden soil. My husband makes the soil. It seems like a little would go a long way. I could get a pretty box for it to sit by my sink. I would just mix it with water when I am ready to wash. If you want to blend food for your face, I would think cucumber and avocado should be included. I will be glad to see the other posts on this thread. Date: October 11, 2008 12:51PM I use just baking soda to wash my hair -- about 2 T. for my waist length hair. The texture is a little strange. I rinse it well, then use the juice of 1/2 small lemon as a rinse. the chemical reaction of the leftover soda and the lemon makes my hair really soft. I can go three days without washing my hair, where I used to have to wash it about every day and a half. Re: shampoo/conditioner/lotion/facial cleanser ideas
