i also think that cows who are not stuck in corrals would probably make more milk for their calves too cow and cattle ( for meat ) farmers are kind of strange goin around talking to their cows knowing full well the inequality of it all darkly comedic Re: Cows with Names Make More Milk

I think it's darkly tragic. It really bugs me that there are so many people walking around thinking they are so compassionate towards animals and still eating them and killing them and what not. I don't know if I will ever get past that irked stage, not even until the day I die. Re: Cows with Names Make More Milk

Date: February 06, 2009 09:11PM My remaining family (brother, father) are both meat eaters.
I HATE to have to eat with them. They love their dogs so much. While they chow down on pigs and cows. Same with the people I work with. Same with my best friend. We have learned to avoid shared mealtimes. I will never get over it, not until the day I die. The only saving grace at the moment is that the school lunch always offers vegetarian options and some of the kids take them regularly without even knowing what they are doing.
