Highly recommend this book

Very informative & readable work. Really gives you a new appreciate for wild animals & makes you consider your behavior (feeding, socializing, self-care, etc.) & well as that of your fellow humans (and pets) in a new light.

Also, it's claims are scientifically founded (list of references in the back) and it's not trying to sell any particular agenda which puts it far ahead of most health books (and all "raw" books I've read).

Anyone interested in health should check it out. I originally bought it years ago but just finally got around to reading it now. smiling smiley

Looks like a really great book, Narz. Thanks! I know what you mean about 'not trying to sell any particular agenda'-- it's refreshing when you find a nutrition book that just lays out the facts and doesn't try to twist them around to fit a particular agenda.

What a like about it is that it's not just a nutritional book, it also deals with how animals keep themselves mentally/emotionally healthy. smiling smiley

Even in the Wild, animals can be unhealthy. I
remember some of Jane Goodall's studies revealed
emotionally disturbed Chimpanzees.....WY

WY,

I remember some of Jane Goodall's studies revealed
emotionally disturbed Chimpanzees.....

Maybe because they just couldn't get away from that one human who seemed to always be around, taking notes? Seriously, I really admire everything Ms. Goodall and her family have done to aid chimp preservation. I think the book cb recommends deals with how wild animals treat themselves for physical ailments.

community builder,

Thanks for posting this--that book sounds fascinating and I look forward to reading it.
