Date: November 29, 2009 12:58AM Yup... creativity is a seperate entity to that which is used as the medium. IMO plastic is definately a destructive anti life product.
Amusing thread though LaV. Re: Plastic oh not quite so solid or supreme

Date: November 29, 2009 02:13AM I have been trying to move away from plastics as well...sigh...I am typing on a plastic keyboard, pretty much surrounded by it. I liked coco's attempt that she was trying to move in this direction a few years ago.
Coconut bowls sound like a great choice to me! Re: Plastic oh not quite so solid or supreme

Date: November 30, 2009 01:27PM hmm interesting statement that lightform issued to vinny about being one with plastifical ( yep i made up that word... u like?) surroundings
i must ponder upon that for a while ( in a pondering pose with my hands underneath my chin) yes i finished pondering i have come to zero conclusive conclusions conclusion still pending... permanently LOL i like the idea of dried coconut bowls too i mean i can use coconut bowls to put water too and drink out of it or a green soup i made or even some jewelry ( even though i don't have a lot of jewelry though i do have a nice violet broach in the shape of a flower) one can use coconut bowls to store other stuff in it as well like ginger i love ginger Re: Plastic oh not quite so solid or supreme

Telepathically. Duh. ; ) That's the difficulty of trying to live entirely without plastic--one must face the prospect of regressing to the point of banging on rocks to communicate with the sun . . . Re: Plastic oh not quite so solid or supreme

While I can't give any real evidence for this for obvious reasons, IMO the state of our current technology far from defines all of the potentials for it that exist. One only needs to observe its progression through the last hundred years to become aware that it is forever evolving. Platic is another product that has been developed from a fundementally flawed psyche or objective. Namely the need to meet budget requirements over workability or societal / environmental benifit. We don't need to digress from complexity or convenience in order to implement alternatives, we only need to change the values which our society is based on !
