Date: July 15, 2010 06:07AM tough it out to day 10 if u can. might as well if you've made it this far, right? otherwise you'll just have to do this whole process all over again if you ever want to see how it works out for you to do it long term. try hard, change up what you're doing if it gets sticky, give yourself a break when you need it, feel all the stuff, all the changes, accept it all. you'll be ok. sometimes it's good to do hard things, you know?

I am not a big supporter of fasting or other heavy detox in general, I think it can be very hard on the body but I also think 'in for a penny, in for a pound', as the saying goes. Might as well experience the whole shebang since you're in it and more than midway through. Just pay attention to how you're Really feeling. Uncomfortable and funny aren't neccessarily indicators of danger, they are just, well, uncomfortable. Do take care not to let yourself get sick but don't fall into a plate of food in a moment of weakness.   Re: Ok, but only because it's funny.

In BC my little went to daycare and school with the most oddly named crew of kids. Merlin, Jari, Zion, London, Caden, Kylan, Oona, Skylar, Erikan etc etc etc. It was crazy pants! You were the odd one out if you were called Mary or Scott. Kinda fun class list, Valentine's Day cards were super fun to make out .
Have to say, my kids and I all have unusual names. My hippy parents started a family tradtion of making names up . Even our last name is a chosen one. It's pretty neat, I've started an entirely new branch of the family tree.Re: Ok, but only because it's funny.

I didn't do any funky paper work for the kids, I just put the name down on their forms when I registered them for their birth certificates. For myself I had to pay for a name change but that was ok, I wanted us to all have the same last name for travel purposes. Otherwise officials look at your documents and say "Whose kids are these you're trying to leave the country with lady?!" Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
