Date: September 17, 2010 04:07AM I am in the middle of trying to resolve a case of credit card fraud where some one used anothers card to buy something off of my internet site. I have a Miami location of the delivery and persons name who signed for the packages. I have the IP adress of the computer used to place the order from an Atlanta GA company. A charge back has been placed against my account by the person whose card was used but the money was allready sent to the warehouse who ships my orders.
Has any one had success investigating card fraud on thier own and turning it around. Seems this is a "legal" crime as no one goes after the criminals. Whats the answer to this. For me it will be get rid of all cards and go back to cash and checks. Re: credit card fraud; id theft

Date: September 17, 2010 07:21PM I think a service like paypal might offer insurance on this sort of transaction. Aside from that won't the police go to the shipping address and collect at least your merchandise? That seems a bit negligent if not. I thought identity and creditcard crimes were a big deal.
