I had a really good one in mind...but I feel mean tricking people so I just couldnt get myself to do it...lol...

yeah trickery is a tricky topic

messing with minds... not nice

i think the key with april fools is to keep things absurd

a little absurd... and only believable for a split second

then the joke only trips up people who are a little asleep at the wheel

but on april 1st people gotsta know

that they should be on their toes

some programmers of reality have totally messed with my head

and i wonder if ive benefited and if their ways are to be condoned

maybe sometimes a little trickery keeps us sharp

but there is malevolent trickery and there is benevolent trickery

sometimes it's hard to tell which is which

i prefer the benevolent kind

that all said... i generally always prefer receiving and providing truth

straight-up unadulterated truth

when i was a kid, my friend and i would cruise the hood late at night

and sometimes we swapped potted plants between houses

and we laughed like mad men about the inevitable head-scratching we caused

but today, i feel like that was kinda messed up

because people gots enough stuff to make them crazy

and i wouldn't do it again

PLANT swapping?

uh... compared to other kinds of swapping that people do to REALLY confuse each other

i'd say that that is purrrttty darn mild

and in fact, you should get an award for that

the people who saw the new strange plants probably thought that God Herself came down from heaven and altered their reality to give them this message:

" You are special. you are loved. I give you a new plant for you to start a new life."

If i woke up one day blurry eyed and saw a new plant that was not there before and my previous plant totally eradicated, I too would have these same thoughts."

yeah, that was mild...

another mild yet potent trick i played once

was with my friend while we were on a long drive

i was driving and he was half-asleep in the passenger seat

and we were on a two-lane curvy mountain highway

i made the perfect sound

it was like "shzzroommm" with a nice crescendo and decrescendo

he suddenly looked up at me and was like "wahhh?" all confused thinking a car had just come inches from hitting us or something

i was like dude nah just me

i probably wouldn't pull that one again either
