Tablets and Pads

I've been thinking of leaping into the 21st century by purchasing a tablet or android pad. The laptop that I take to uni is pretty good, a 12" Dell, but it's still too heavy and takes up too much room in my backpack. I've heard about a hard protective case with protective corners in you drop your pad or tablet. The best part though is that you can slot your tablet into the case (either a portrait or landscape view) and the case then becomes a keyboard. I prefer the tactile keyboard rather than the touch screen and I could then type/edit my assignments with it at uni. I don't care that it doesn't have heaps of memory on the hard drive, cause all I want to mainly do is work on my assignment while waiting for the next lecture or tut.
