Good, safe jobs in the medical field?

Date: October 10, 2012 05:59AM would an ultrasound tech be a safe job in terms of being around radiation or magnetic waves all day?
i am looking into careers in the medical field. i would like something that i can go to a vocational school for 2 years for and get easy job placement. salary isnt that big of a deal. but safety is. any advice? Re: Good, safe jobs in the medical field?

[allhealthcare.monster.com] In my day there was something called a Nurse's Aid that didn't take much training. I'm always reading those career builder lists of jobs that take two years and pay well, but right now I can't put my hands on it. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
