Internship Overhaul?

Date: August 26, 2013 05:53PM What’s the story on the Internship situation? I don’t have any articles for once, but I want to check it out. Just from what I picked up over the last year or so – it seems like some faction had a problem about how internships are Unpaid, so they made a stink and now there’s no such thing as a real Internship – you remember, where you work for someone or some company for nothing in exchange for learning the business or skill from the ground up, to get valuable skills – instead what is called an internship now is really where you get paid minimum wage, like any other entry level employee, and it’s just got the word “internship” attached to it. Can someone enlighten me on what the real story is. Not sure if legislation was passed or what. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
