"'I'm living well thank you,' he said. 'We are living well. This is the reality we have that we live here, and its quite a good reality. 'To move closer towards the city? For that we need to have a more cultural society, and of course to change how the cities smell and the pollution. 'I am happy here.'" 'We don't want to get back to the city - and smell petrol or at best various cleaning and washing powders.' English-speaking 'forest boy' nicknamed 'Siberian Mowgli' born and raised in the Altai wilderness [siberiantimes.com] Video - [now.msn.com] Re: Modern-day Mowgli found in the forest where he's lived for 16 years

Date: September 12, 2013 02:23PM I read about this kid on The Drudge Report last night and I noticed that the first thing they did was to issue him an ID so they could get him into the System - The Sproutarian Man would love this - [www.youtube.com] . Date: September 12, 2013 05:40PM the 'System"
funny the language the writer uses it is written that the family "opted out of life" simply because they opted out of living within the "System" as if the "system" were "Life" does anyone ever wonder how far the "System" has penetrated into the very fabric ...like a dye embedded in the cilia of your mind? ( okay, cilia isn't exactly correct but the nerve network looks cilia- like... cilia with lightning webbing) how much of your thoughts are truly yours? do you ever wonder? i do and i have no answer Re: Modern-day Mowgli found in the forest where he's lived for 16 years

Date: September 12, 2013 05:43PM but if none of my thoughts are my own ( just permeations of the external making their way into the recesses of my mind)
then who do they belong to? they don't belong to the "System" or at least, that is what i would like to think maybe i'm a fool to believe that i can be "intact" wholly integral only to myself a girl can always dream.... Re: Modern-day Mowgli found in the forest where he's lived for 16 years

Date: September 12, 2013 05:46PM i imagine sometimes
that my mind ( or thoughts) is like a creature i would love to just take it out to the wilderness no people, no building, no wifi, no cell phones, no "culture" no "attitudes" no "fashion" no "government" no ... nothing just take it out to a clear field where the grass is tall and swaying and the sunlight hits it at just the right angle and i have the patience to stare at a ladybug climbing up the grass stalk for hours and hours and hours... never getting bored of every minutiae of change in the wind patterns or the waning of the sun and when its night time the mind creature goes to sleep and dreams that it was never awake Re: Modern-day Mowgli found in the forest where he's lived for 16 years

Date: September 12, 2013 05:58PM i'm a fool
and proud of it there is no greater feeling of freedom than being able to play the fool and just not care have you ever wished you were a fool? i bet you have babies too can play the "fool" and make adults wish they were too so foolish but not foolhardy because if it was foolhardy it wouldn't be foolish and if it weren't foolish it wouldn't be any fun and if it isn't any fun then what is the point? don't be a farmer unless you give yourself permission to play the fool locusts, weather... so many things can make you look foolish don't get into a relationship unless you wish to play the fool otherwise, you will just end up looking even more foolish than a fool don't take any risks unless you enjoy being a fool a foolish person can recover easier and last of all, don't live out in the wilderness unless you think the System is a bunch of fools then your foolish spell will be over and Nature may make a fool of you unless you learn to listen to her and obey or not the modern day mowgli is a feral mind - creature trapped in a caged matrix called "Mind" a wild thing seeking an insane light that is endangered every second of every minute good luck to all this will be my last post for a while this article is an invitation to me to take my mind out of the "System" this internet food site and give its sinews and heart chambers more space to breathe, crawl walk R U N hahahahahahahahahah!!!!!! a happy ADIOS! Date: September 12, 2013 05:59PM I think it's amazing that this family could make it in the wild like that for so long. Especially because I'm figuring it's extremely cold there. They should be role models and be doing workshops and have a blog and a reality show on how they make it work. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
