"(CNN) -- Most beer guts are the result of consuming fermented brew, but a new case study describes a rare syndrome that had one man's gut fermenting brew, not consuming it.

It's called gut fermentation syndrome or auto-brewery syndrome, and it's "a relatively unknown phenomenon in Western medicine" according to a study published in July's International Journal of Clinical Medicine. "Only a few cases have been reported in the last three decades" according to Dr. Barbara Cordell, the dean of nursing at Panola College in Carthage, Texas, and Dr. Justin McCarthy, a Lubbock gastroenterologist, the study's authors."

,,They are correct, but the underlying mechanism is actually the result of a lack of beneficial gut flora or bacteria, this causes opportunistic pathogens such as yeast to morph into there tissue penetraring fungal form. ..

thus is fully preventable

plus no bread or sugar or else they get a DUI

If they can't make a buck (by adding medicine instead of changing diet), it isn't worthy and goes against their way of 'healing' people. from the medical stablishment point of view, there is a medicine for every disease. you could have hearth problems because you don't take medicine. Medicine, medicine, medicine. Medicine is just a label that hides a gigantic economical system behind, which needs you believing on it.

Yeah sadly that is the case. The average diet is probably one of the main causes of lack or poor gut flora balance. A lack of fermentable prebiotic fibers and far too much refined sugar, gluten and other foods which increase intestinal permeability.

The role of the gut flora should never be under-estimated, especially when it comes to digestive disorders, yet physicians completely ignore it in most cases. Even individuals with Irritable Bowel Syndrome(IBS) are given anti-depressants, yet the cause is most often an imbalance in the gut flora.

Fermented foods such as kefir, raw sauerkraut, cultured veggies are a great source of beneficial bacteria. A diet rich in prebiotic fibers is also recommended, bimuno is a good over the counter prebiotic if extra supplementation is needed.

Prescript-Assist Soil Based Probiotic is also one of the most powerful probiotic/prebiotic supplements on the market and comes with great reviews/feedback.

i was yesterday on a medical campus staff party. These people themselves have the worse health ever but yet they are the ones fixing other people. SCARY!!! Most (not all) are about their ego but they don't look in the mirror.
