How about that Personal Message function?

Date: October 30, 2013 05:40PM I really feel that the lack of this detracts from the sense of community around here. I know that in the past I've been able to easily iron out differences with people behind the scenes. I also like sharing specific info with individuals. Will you please fix this, Bryan? We've been adhering to your rules for well over a month now. It seems that the restoration of PMs would be a nice gesture. Please? Re: How about that Personal Message function?

but i think bryan mentioned before that his role as a moderator is a strictly volunteer position the PM is nice but not essential perhaps you could do some research and behind the scenes work to figure out how other websites get their PM function resuscitated after being non functional.. get all the potential reasons and solutions and then give him instructions it could end up being a real ordeal and quite laborious but that's exactly what he would be going through as well the fact that we have someone moderating the threads at all so that this forum doesn't turn into a (insert whatever label here) is a real gift Re: How about that Personal Message function?

Date: October 30, 2013 07:21PM No need for the condescending lecture. Bryan already mentioned weeks ago that he would take care of it. Besides, my request was totally polite. No pressure on anyone. I simply stated why I think it would be a good idea along with my hope that he does it. Any work he would do to get this done would be greatly appreciated, and like I said, no one is making demands or thinking that it's a simple matter of a click or two. Edited 1 time(s).
