Date: May 16, 2018 07:47AM Thought some of our nature lovers here might be interested in these pictures and short videos of the Big Island, where the volcano is coming out of a subdivision right now, plus sending up ash out of the main crater at Kilauea.
I think the May 6 and May 8 videos are pretty incredible. It all started with just cracks in the road after a couple of days with a lot of earthquakes. People were keeping watch on the cracks; and then, after a day or two, lava started coming out, then flying out and throwing burning rocks up high in the air. [volcanoes.usgs.gov] Edited 2 time(s).
