Pink Slime(tm) has been getting hammered in the blogosphere, and internet trickle-up theory being what it is, regular Columnists With Gravitas started to opine about it unfavorably, and that was the writing on the wall for Pink Slime(tm),I guess. Good riddance. But now what will be done with all that third level offal? We can't put it back into dog food; that Purina campaign to anthropomorphize dogs to the point of convincing us that their kibble should be human grade food--with probiotics and anti-oxidants--has worked too well!

I have decided that those People of Walmart photos, of which this photo is a type of the genre, are all photoshopped. Yes, that is what I have deicded. The alternative is unthinkable.

How do people think outfits like that are OK? Seriously? WTF, my mind just fritzed out when I looked at that. It's nothing to do with the body in it, it's the proportion of ass to fabric that has me wigged.

I was going to comment about that couple, the look of what I perceive to be abject horror at whatever the front of that outfit must look like. Then I thought maybe they just have a deer in headlights look on their faces because they weren't ready for a snap shot. But no, I really do think the guy especially is a bit slack-jawed with shock.

Thanks, coco, I liked that. I sent it to my one daughter who had a big fancy wedding with all the trimmings and another daughter who just wants a bare-bones wedding. Me and my husband went down to the Municipal Building and got married by the City Clerk. I didn't even want an engagement ring - why waste all that money. You can buy a whole house with the money these spoiled kids spend on weddings nowaday, and probably most of them end up divorced. I know, I'm cynical...

The hipsters do overuse the word "epic," but that was truly the most epic marriage proposal ever. Young Amy had better not expect these people to not be all in her business from now on, ha-ha! On the other hand, this young couple will have such a huge support network, and they are truly blessed to have so many dear people looking out for them. All life's joys to Amy and Issac, I say!
