Date: April 02, 2012 10:21PM Pink Slime(tm) has been getting hammered in the blogosphere, and internet trickle-up theory being what it is, regular Columnists With Gravitas started to opine about it unfavorably, and that was the writing on the wall for Pink Slime(tm),I guess. Good riddance. But now what will be done with all that third level offal? We can't put it back into dog food; that Purina campaign to anthropomorphize dogs to the point of convincing us that their kibble should be human grade food--with probiotics and anti-oxidants--has worked too well! Date: April 10, 2012 11:03AM I have decided that those People of Walmart photos, of which this photo is a type of the genre, are all photoshopped. Yes, that is what I have deicded. The alternative is unthinkable. Re: Your daily WTFery

Date: April 10, 2012 11:05AM How do people think outfits like that are OK? Seriously? WTF, my mind just fritzed out when I looked at that. It's nothing to do with the body in it, it's the proportion of ass to fabric that has me wigged. ~If it uplifts and inspires you, do it.~ Re: Your daily WTFery

Date: April 24, 2012 08:23AM No, I don't understand this fashion statement at all. Aside from the obvious aspect of unflattering fit it looks horrifically uncomfortable. Pants that tight just scream "yeast infection!". Ouch. ~If it uplifts and inspires you, do it.~ Re: Your daily WTFery

It is normal after a traumatic event. (P.S. I am inclined to think it's real due to the reaction of the people in front of this woman. OMG...) Re: Your daily WTFery

Date: April 24, 2012 01:29PM I was going to comment about that couple, the look of what I perceive to be abject horror at whatever the front of that outfit must look like. Then I thought maybe they just have a deer in headlights look on their faces because they weren't ready for a snap shot. But no, I really do think the guy especially is a bit slack-jawed with shock. ~If it uplifts and inspires you, do it.~ Re: Your daily WTFery

Date: May 27, 2012 10:12AM Thanks, coco, I liked that. I sent it to my one daughter who had a big fancy wedding with all the trimmings and another daughter who just wants a bare-bones wedding. Me and my husband went down to the Municipal Building and got married by the City Clerk. I didn't even want an engagement ring - why waste all that money. You can buy a whole house with the money these spoiled kids spend on weddings nowaday, and probably most of them end up divorced. I know, I'm cynical... Re: Your daily WTFery

Date: May 27, 2012 04:11PM The hipsters do overuse the word "epic," but that was truly the most epic marriage proposal ever. Young Amy had better not expect these people to not be all in her business from now on, ha-ha! On the other hand, this young couple will have such a huge support network, and they are truly blessed to have so many dear people looking out for them. All life's joys to Amy and Issac, I say! Date: May 28, 2012 06:21PM I have a calendar I bought at a dollar store that has a fun fact for each day of the year. Here are a few of my faves from April and May...
The dot that appears over the letter 'i' is called a tittle. For every person on earth there are one million ants. 95% of the entire U.S. lemon crop is produced in California and Arizona. Bats always turn left when exiting a cave. 25% of the bones in your body are in your feet. Coconuts kill more people every year than sharks. The sentence "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" uses every letter in the English language. If you put a drop of liquor on a scorpion, it will instantly go mad and sting itself to death. If you miss... Life is just so much fun .
Oh, oh, one more! Vincent Van Gogh slod exactly one painting during his whole life, "Red Vineyard at Arles." Go look it up! ~If it uplifts and inspires you, do it.~ Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/28/2012 06:24PM by coco. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
