Cardinal Bergoglio from Argentina! Seriously, are there any Catholics on board? I was not raised as one but my parents were and there are many Catholics in this area.

I must say I view it as utter nonsense, no offense to Catholics on the board.

Look at the sheeple crowds all standing there cheering at the Vatican...They have no clue WHO was chosen, just that someone was chosen & they are as happy as a pig in slop, cheering for an unknown "leader".

Having said all of the above, I do question that sexual practice on the grounds that it might be harmful to the recipient due to not being designed for that behavior.

But I cannot use that as a reason to be demeaning towards those who find themselves attracted and/or in love with the same gender.

If you are disgusted by certain sexual practices, then fine. I am a bit perplexed at the lengths of what people go to in order to satisfy their sexual urges. However, I don't link it to one type of sexual preference.

Case in point: I was listening to a CHRISTIAN advice show on a CHRISTIAN radio station and this woman called and was wondering if it was "okay" for her to allow her husband to give her anal! And check this out: they were a bit flummoxed but actually said that since there is no mention of anal sex in the Bible, it's okay as long as no one gets hurt. So I guess it's okay to swing from the chandeliers, too, because it's not in the Bible...
