Lava reaches the first house...

The front of the flow stalled just behind the berm that Alfred Lee made to protect his house; but there are breakouts all along the flow. Pele' enters the transfer station and a resident's fish pond: [www.bigislandvideonews.com] The transfer station is where people bring their trash and recyclables. One large recycling tent was hauled off, but the rest will probably be under lava within hours. Re: Lava reaches the first house...

So sweet of you to ask! Yes we're OK. We're about 7 miles or so out of the predicted path. Kind of stymied our plans to move though, at least for now.
