DS: So what we would like to do right now is bring her up. Lorraine, are you with me? [LD: Yes I am.] Wonder to have you here Lorraine, you know, so much is happening right now, the work that Eric and myself and you and so many others, Jim Condit and the list is very long have been pushing so long about the Truth about who’s Controlling Everything and how it’s done - it’s finally getting traction and I see a lot of worry. We’ve been looking into so many of the ways things are done and one of the things we talked about in our private call or recently was how the Medical System and University System and Research System in the country has been compromised in favor of this particular group of, and it’s Not all, and I say this every time, it’s Not all Jewish participants, but the ones that are there have been inserted in some way as a Controlling Factor in so much of our University and Medical Structure. Can you talk a little bit about how you experienced that through your career as a Physician?

LD: Well, yes. First of all, I think when you say that it’s Not them completely, it’s Not the Jews completely because there are other people involved, we should probably go back just to lay a little ground work about 400 years ago or so whenever Queen Elizabeth I was in Power, her Head of Security, John Dee, was a Jew and that was probably in modern times where the Elitist Non-Jews and the Jewish Elite got together and made a Pact that together they would Rule the World.

Now the Jews are a small enough group around the World that they know they can’t Rule Everything by themselves. They’ve got to have someone to help get them there and so, that’s when they made the Alliance with the Elitists and John Dee was successful in convincing Elizabeth the First that she and the British had Ruled the World and that they could do It because the Jews had the Money Supply and the ability to Lend the Money to them. This was done after a private agreement that John Dee made with, I think, Rabbi ben Yohan [?] in Prague.

Now this is a very important thing because in Prague now, there is a Statue to the Golem. Many people haven’t heard of a Golem. A Golem is, supposedly, a created being that a Rabbi created and that is the basis of the Story of the Frankenstein Monster and so, which now is made into Horror Movies and almost has become a joke, but you’ll notice the name is Frankenstein - this is a Jewish name. And so, the Jews have always wanted to be able to create because, you see, God created the Earth and the Heaven and the Sea and all that and the Jews want to be God and want to create.

Now again, I’m Not talking about every single Jew. But we’re talking about a Plan that is outlined in the Elders of Zion and many books written by Jews that are available if anybody really wants to look at it. This is really the basis when you say that it’s Not just the Jews, but in their Talmud, which is their holiest book, Jews do Not really believe in the Old Testament. DS: But at the same time, what I’m seeing here is it’s a way for our Social Destruction and it’s working - that’s the thing - it’s working.

LD: It’s Social and Physical Destruction - it’s no different from the Horrors of Vaccination.

DS: Did they do this to the German public? You know something, much of the sickest pornography in the last, in the previous 100 years came out of Germany and Germany was completely subjected to this kind of Sickness early on.

LD: The reason, the reason that Hitler wanted the Jews out of his country, his plan never was to exterminate them, he wanted them out of his country because they were promoting this same sort of Degeneracy. And so that’s what they were Destroying - the Culture - they were Destroying the Art - they were Destroying the Morality and he wanted them out.

DS: And he made some deals with them to get them out, didn’t he?

LD: Oh absolutely, they worked with him because what they wanted, what the Jews wanted, they wanted Hitler to Oppress them far more than he did, far more than he did because they wanted Jews to immigrate to Israel to Palestine at that time so they would have enough there. You see, World War I, the Primary Purpose of World War I was to get Palestine out of the hands of the Turks and into the hands of the British. The British Government is Owned by the Jews. The Rothschilds in the City of London Rule the World. The Rothschilds are Jews and so Britain got a hold of Palestine after World War I and then, World War II was designed for 2 main things to then get Palestine from the hands of the British [Turks?] into the hands of the Jews and to give all of Eastern Europe to the Communists and Communism is a Jewish System right out of the Jewish Talmud. 19:36 MM

LD: You see, Wall Street Bankers funded the entire takeover of Christian Tsarist Russia by the Jewish Bolsheviks. Lenin was a Jew, Stalin was a Jew, Trotsky was a Jew, Karl Marx was a Jew and 80% of all the Ruling Body of Russia after the Bolsheviks took over were Jews.

DS: And they even made it illegal to identify a Jew, which is exactly what they’re trying to do again in the United States and have already succeeded in some ways to do here where I live.

LD: Well, that’s correct. And so, what has happened now, the Medical Aspect of this is just another Plan to exterminate Gentiles. The Jews, first of all, have this Persecution Myth. Everything that happens to them even if you point out what they’re really doing, oh, they cry and scream and carry on and say you are a bigot, you are Anti-Semitic, the whole point is they accuse Gentiles of doing to them what they are actually doing to Gentiles, right? And so, people have to understand that. So what they have done is they have infiltrated the Medical Profession to an enormous degree and Control the Funding. The Funding is mainly handed out from the National Institutes of Health in American and in the Washington DC area and they really Control that.

Now I was surprised as I look back on it. When I was at UC San Francisco Medical School, I was on the Facility there for 15 years, and I had a colleague in the Orthopedic Surgery Department who was Jewish and he and I were very good friends and he had been a Neurologist and then, he became an Orthopedic Surgeon as well and he had a dual appointment in both the Neurology and Orthopedic Surgery Departments. Now every year he got Funding from the National Institutes of Health, the NIH, every year he got Funding and other people had much more trouble getting Funding than he did. And so, we asked him, how do you get this Funding? And he said, oh, I go back to the NIH every year and I ask them what kinds of projects do you want Funded this year - do you want to Fund this year? So he says, I always tailor my research to be in the broad category that they want Funded. That was the first time I realized that they have a very Planned System of what they want Funded. 22:16 MM

DS: And this is interesting because my cousin did some research, Lorraine, on a family called Flexner and they were working out of the Rockefeller Institute in New York back at the beginning of last century. Four brothers - one of them was a Biochemist and a couple of others were very high level Researchers and what they did is they tailored a great amount of Research both that turned into the Scripts Institute was formed by them and so many others and you look at the forerunners of these Government Organizations came right out of some of the Rockefeller Research Projects that started back at the turn of last century and, of course, both you and I know that Rockefeller’s entire funding apparatus was given to him by Rothschild.

LD: That’s right, that’s right and so what I realized is they are Funding Research - there are 2 Main Areas of Research they want to Fund. Now this encompasses a very broad area. #1) they want to encompass Research on How they can Create, alright? That’s what all of this Embryonic Stem Cell Research is for and that’s why they introduced and approved of Partial Birth Abortion. For those who don’t understand what Partial Birth Abortion is - It is the most horrific thing you can imagine. They wait until a child is full grown in the womb and then, when it is ready to be born, they can turn it around inside the mother’s womb and have it come out feet first instead of head first. So they deliver the entire child alive, except the head is still in the mother’s womb, then they reach in with an instrument and Stick it into the Base of the Brain of the unborn alive child, that is his legs and arms are moving and it’s already the last instant to have its head come out, and they stick an instrument in and Suck out its Brain. That is what Partial Birth Abortion is and the reason they want it is #1) they want it for Organ Donations because when they have the full term child that’s ready to be born, they immediately take it into the next room and takeout all of its Organs to be used for Organ Donations, so they make a pile of Money on this. Now, you see, the Hospital is Not Allowed or the Unit that’s doing the Abortions is Not Allowed to Sell the Babies, but what happens is the way they get around that is that these Donor Companies come in and Dismember this child and they pay a Huge Fee for the use of the Room and that’s the way they get around Buying the Baby’s Dead Bodies, OK, that’s the way they do it. And then, they Sell these Organs on the market for Huge amounts of Money. You can get a list of Prices and yet, it’s against the Law to Sell at a certain Price, but they do it and call it a Processing Fee. 25:21 MM

All of you need to get an education. Seriously, you sound like a bunch of uneducated rednecks who want to blame the Jews, the blacks, the Catholics etc., for their own lack of self worth. If there is some big whole in your life, due to a bad childhood, bad marriage, bullied at school, well, suck it up, become a better person, take steps to improve your life, but don't take it out on the Jews. Dr. Lorraine Day: Purveyor of woo, homophobia, and Holocaust denial

Those of you who’ve been around this blog for a long time probably remember Dr. Lorraine Day. In fact, I mentioned her in one of the very first substantive posts that I ever did regarding why breast cancer testimonials for alternative medicines are inherently misleading, presenting her as an example of a once respected academic orthopedic surgeon who had fallen deeply into woo. I had also been aware of her association with infamous Holocaust denier Ernst Zündel, but I had mainly thought that this was more because of Zündel’s love of woo (he claimed that he had cancer and had called Dr. Day in to provide him with all sorts of “alternative” treatments for this), rather than her sympathy for his right-wing, anti-Semitic, Holocaust denying beliefs.

Boy was I wrong, as fellow traveler in the fight against Holocaust denial Andrew Mathis has revealed to me in his detailed debunking of an interview that Dr. Day gave on a conspiracy-mongering website. I listened to this interview, and it shocked even me. To get a hint of what’s in the interview, check out the introduction:

But it’s even worse than that even that, as I found out when I foolishly tried to listen to the interview. My ears are still burning, and I’m sure I lost thousands of neurons from it. What I do in the name of skepticism and critical thinking!

After having heard part of the interview, I just had to check out Dr. Day’s other website, and, not surprisingly, I found signs of a deeply disturbed individual who is also deeply into woo, both medical and historical. I probably shouldn’t call the historical misinformation “woo,” though. In comparison to what Dr. Day lays down, “woo” seems like a happy word, used to describe harmless flights from reason. Dr. Day’s New World Order conspiracy-mongering and anti-Semitism are anything but harmless. Some excerpts:


Anti-Semitism: Here is the definition of Anti-Semitism from the lips of a Jew: “Anti-Semitism does NOT signify opposition to Semitism. THERE IS NO SUCH THING. It is an expression we use effectively as a SMEARWORD, used to brand anyone who brings criticism against us.” Harold W. Rosenthal (Jewish), administrative assistant for then-U.S. Senator Jacob K. Javits (Jewish) of New York, in an interview with American Christian magazine editor, Walter White.

Holocaust: A term that for years was defined as any devastating event. It was specifically used to describe World Wars I and II, in general.

More recently this term has been “hi-jacked” by the Jews who use it, incorrectly, to describe the purported treatment of the Jews at the hands of the Germans during World War II. Actually, it better describes the Post-World War II treatment of the German citizens by the Allies (the U.S., U.K and USSR), who were taking their orders from International Jewry, including then-U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower, a Swedish Jew, according to his West Point graduation yearbook.

Very few people realize that the Zionist Jewish version of the “Holocaust”, what the revisionists refer to as the Holocaust Hoax, is the CENTERPIECE of the Zionist Jews’ Plan to destroy all nations, control the entire world, slaughter most of the population of the earth, and reduce the rest to slaves. Without the belief in the Zionist Jewish version of the “Holocaust” by the average Jews, and everyone else as well, NONE of these things could occur! Their plans would be foiled!

For decades, America has been pummeled non-stop with “Holocaust” propaganda. On almost every corner, in every city in America, a “Holocaust” museum is rising, paid for by U.S. taxpayers. Propaganda about the “Holocaust” is filling the school textbooks and indoctrinating the minds of our children.

What is the reason behind this incessant indoctrination?

It is absolutely essential that all Jews, in particular, and everyone else, in general, believe the Zionist Jews’ version of the “Holocaust”, for the following reasons.

1. The rank and file Jews must be made to believe that non-Jews want them dead, and that millions of Jews were killed because Hitler, apparently for NO REASON except blatant bigotry, ordered their death.

2. The rank and file Jews must be terrified into believing that this “same thing” will happen again – – if any one says any thing bad (even if it’s true) about any Jew. That is why the Hate Crimes legislation is taking place in America. That is why the Zionist Jews are kidnapping and illegally imprisoning anyone who questions the Zionist Jews’ version of the “Holocaust”, including Ernst Zundel, Germar Rudolph, David Irving, Siegfried Verbeke, and others. They have committed no “crime” other than to question history!

3. The forensic evidence regarding the “Holocaust”, hard facts painstakingly collected by the Holocaust Revisionists, will stand up in any impartial court of law completely refuting the supposed “eye witness” accounts of survivors, and the Zionist Jews know that! These “eyewitness” survivors, when placed under oath in a Court of Law, have withered on the stand under cross-examination, admitting they lied, including one of the top Jewish supporters of the Holocaust, Raul Hilberg.

Instead of countering this forensic evidence that refutes the Zionist Jewish version of the “Holocaust” with hard evidence supporting their views, the Zionist Jews respond with insults, smears, more arrests, assassinations, non-stop propaganda campaigns, and rapidly multiplying “Holocaust” museums. Never once do they sit down with the Revisionists to discuss the issues!

All of these are denier canards, and not even very good ones. They’re all debunked at The Holocaust History Project, Holocaust Controversies, and Nizkor. If I were in the mood, I could tear all of them apart without even breaking a sweat, intellectually speaking.

Besides her claims that Jews control research funding by the NIH and that the head of the NIH has almost always been a Jew, she takes the case of a Jewish colleague of hers who always managed to obtain NIH funding. She asked him how he did it, and he told her that he went to the NIH every year and asked them what sort of broad areas of research the NIH considered a priority for the next year and then tailored his research to NIH priorities. Actually, as long as you’re interested in those areas of research, too, this is a very smart strategy. Not to Dr. Day, who views it as evidence that the “Jew-controlled” NIH dictates the kind of research that will be done and that the medical profession all must buckle under. (Oh, and they were also behind Salk’s research, which is as part of “population extermination.”) Never mind the fact that American scientists are trying very hard to bypass the ban on federal funding of embryonic stem cell research (that’s the NIH in particular, Dr. Day) by looking for alternate sources of funding. The ban may have slowed down stem cell research, but it has by no means prevented it.

Perhaps Dr. Day’s most bizarre claim dates back to the 1980’s. During the early part of the AIDS epidemic, according to Dr. Day, attending physicians didn’t draw blood or have much physical contact with AIDS patients. Instead, the interns and residents did. This may well have been very true, but ask yourself: How often do attending surgeons draw the blood of any patient? Not very. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I drew blood; it was probably at least three or four years ago. In any case, she says that she was “floating around in AIDS blood all the time” (not surprising, given that she made her name by claiming, on the basis of poor evidence, that aerosolized blood was an enormous risk and could transmit HIV easily, conveniently ignoring the fact that the only way any health care workers every contracted HIV was from needlesticks or accidents with sharp objects that resulted in blood-to-blood contact. While ranting about this story, Dr. Day accused Dr. Julie Gerberding, who was at San Francisco General Hospital then and is head of the CDC now, of lying to the public about AIDS and then claimed that Dr. Gerberding was “rewarded” for this lying by being appointed head of the CDC. She then stated that AIDS is a man-made virus made at Fort Detrick and claimed that homosexuality would be promoted as a lifestyle that would “destroy family cohesion,” “introduce degeneracy,” and “spread disease,” implying that it was part of the same Jewish plot. She then linked this to Hitler, stating that Hitler wanted the Jews out of Germany because they were promoting the “same kind of degeneracy,” while she spewed the usual denier lie that Hitler didn’t want to exterminate the Jews but only kick them out of the Reich (something that may have been largely true in 1934 but most definitely was not true in 1944, when the Holocaust was under full steam).

Great. Not only is Dr. Day a woo-meister, but she’s a homophobe, a religious loon, an anti-Semite, a racist, and a Holocaust denier. After about 15 minutes, I couldn’t stand listening anymore, but I encourage you to listen to as much as you can stomach. It’s rare to see such an amazing degree of utter wingnuttery on display, and I admire Andrew for listening to it all and debunking the stuff he is knowledgeable about.

Dr. Lorraine Day is exhibit one in the case that a lack of critical thinking skills in one area is frequently associated with a lack of critical thinking skills in other areas. In her case, even while she was the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at San Francisco General Hospital in the 1980’s, her lack of critical thinking became apparent in her hysterical warnings about aerosolized blood as a huge danger for AIDS. This could be somewhat understandable, given her profession, location, and the time period in which she developed these views, but even then it was known that aerosolized blood wasn’t much of a threat to health care personnel and is pretty easy to protect against with simple barrier methods. However, after developing breast cancer, something happened, and Dr. Day apparently lost her remaining critical thinking abilities, leading to her selling various altie treatments, claiming that there is a conspiracy to hide these “cures” (predating Kevin Trudeau by at least a decade), and, now, apparently, delving deeply into Holocaust denial.

Woo breeds woo, and, all too often, conspiracy-mongering of the worst sort as well. Much of the time, the additional woo that is bred is not as vile and harmful as Holocaust denial (more like UFOs or New Age woo), but it’s not infrequent that susceptibility to seemingly benign woo is an indicator of susceptibility to more malignant forms of pseudoscience, crankery, or pseudohistory. After reading Dr. Day’s sites, I almost wish that she had simply decided that creationism is correct; it would have been less disgusting than what she does believe. (My guess: Give her time; she’ll start spewing creationism as well.) From my perspective, though, it’s very sad indeed to see a once talented academic surgeon sink to these depths.

[LD: Yes I am.] Wonderful to have you here Lorraine, you know, so much is happening right now, the work that Eric and myself and you and so many others, Jim Condit and the list is very long have been pushing so long about the Truth about who’s Controlling Everything and how it’s done - it’s finally getting traction and I see a lot of worry. We’ve been looking into so many of the ways things are done and one of the things we talked about in our private call or recently was how the Medical System and University System and Research System in the country has been compromised in favor of this particular group of, and it’s Not all, and I say this every time, it’s Not all Jewish participants, but the ones that are there have been inserted in some way as a Controlling Factor in so much of our University and Medical Structure. Can you talk a little bit about how you experienced that through your career as a Physician?

LD: Well, yes. First of all, I think when you say that it’s Not them completely, it’s Not the Jews completely because there are other people involved, we should probably go back just to lay a little ground work about 400 years ago or so whenever Queen Elizabeth I was in Power, her Head of Security, John Dee, was a Jew and that was probably in modern times where the Elitist Non-Jews and the Jewish Elite got together and made a Pact that together they would Rule the World.

Now the Jews are a small enough group around the World that they know they can’t Rule Everything by themselves. They’ve got to have someone to help get them there and so, that’s when they made the Alliance with the Elitists and John Dee was successful in convincing Elizabeth the First that she and the British had Ruled the World and that they could do It because the Jews had the Money Supply and the ability to Lend the Money to them. This was done after a private agreement that John Dee made with, I think, Rabbi ben Yohan [?] in Prague.

Now this is a very important thing because in Prague now, there is a Statue to the Golem. Many people haven’t heard of a Golem. A Golem is, supposedly, a created being that a Rabbi created and that is the basis of the Story of the Frankenstein Monster and so, which now is made into Horror Movies and almost has become a joke, but you’ll notice the name is Frankenstein - this is a Jewish name. And so, the Jews have always wanted to be able to create because, you see, God created the Earth and the Heaven and the Sea and all that and the Jews want to be God and want to create.

Now again, I’m Not talking about every single Jew. But we’re talking about a Plan that is outlined in the Elders of Zion and many books written by Jews that are available if anybody really wants to look at it. This is really the basis when you say that it’s Not just the Jews, but in their Talmud, which is their holiest book, Jews do Not really believe in the Old Testament. DS: Did they do this to the German public? You know something, much of the sickest pornography in the last, in the previous 100 years came out of Germany and Germany was completely subjected to this kind of Sickness early on.

LD: The reason, the reason that Hitler wanted the Jews out of his country, his plan never was to exterminate them, he wanted them out of his country because they were promoting this same sort of Degeneracy. And so that’s what they were Destroying - the Culture - they were Destroying the Art - they were Destroying the Morality and he wanted them out.

DS: And he made some deals with them to get them out, didn’t he?

LD: Oh absolutely, they worked with him because what they wanted, what the Jews wanted, they wanted Hitler to Oppress them far more than he did, far more than he did because they wanted Jews to immigrate to Israel to Palestine at that time so they would have enough there. You see, World War I, the Primary Purpose of World War I was to get Palestine out of the hands of the Turks and into the hands of the British. The British Government is Owned by the Jews. The Rothschilds in the City of London Rule the World. The Rothschilds are Jews and so Britain got a hold of Palestine after World War I and then, World War II was designed for 2 main things to then get Palestine from the hands of the British [Turks?] into the hands of the Jews and to give all of Eastern Europe to the Communists and Communism is a Jewish System right out of the Jewish Talmud. 19:36 MM

LD: You see, Wall Street Bankers founded the entire takeover of Christian Tsarist Russia by the Jewish Bolsheviks. Lenin was a Jew, Stalin was a Jew, Trotsky was a Jew, Karl Marx was a Jew and 80% of all the Ruling Body of Russia after the Bolsheviks took over were Jews.

DS: And they even made it illegal to identify a Jew, which is exactly what they’re trying to do again in the United States and have already succeeded in some ways to do here where I live.

LD: Well, that’s correct. And so, what has happened now, the Medical Aspect of this is just another Plan to exterminate Gentiles. The Jews, first of all, have this Persecution Myth. Everything that happens to them even if you point out what they’re really doing, oh, they cry and scream and carry on and say you are a bigot, you are Anti-Semitic, the whole point is they accuse Gentiles of doing to them what they are actually doing to Gentiles, right? And so, people have to understand that. So what they have done is they have infiltrated the Medical Profession to an enormous degree and Control the Funding. The Funding is mainly handed out from the National Institutes of Health in American and in the Washington DC area and they really Control that.

Now I was surprised as I look back on it. When I was at UC San Francisco Medical School, I was on the Facility there for 15 years, and I had a colleague in the Orthopedic Surgery Department who was Jewish and he and I were very good friends and he had been a Neurologist and then, he became an Orthopedic Surgeon as well and he had a dual appointment in both the Neurology and Orthopedic Surgery Departments. Now every year he got Funding from the National Institutes of Health, the NIH, every year he got Funding and other people had much more trouble getting Funding than he did. And so, we asked him, how do you get this Funding? And he said, oh, I go back to the NIH every year and I ask them what kinds of projects do you want Funded this year - do you want to Fund this year? So he says, I always tailor my research to be in the broad category that they want Funded. That was the first time I realized that they have a very Planned System of what they want Funded. 22:16 MM

DS: And this is interesting because my cousin did some research, Lorraine, on a family called Flexner and they were working out of the Rockefeller Institute in New York back at the beginning of last century. Four brothers - one of them was a Biochemist and a couple of others were very high level Researchers and what they did is they tailored a great amount of Research both that turned into the Scripts Institute was formed by them and so many others and you look at the forerunners of these Government Organizations came right out of some of the Rockefeller Research Projects that started back at the turn of last century and, of course, both you and I know that Rockefeller’s entire funding apparatus was given to him by Rothschild.

LD: That’s right, that’s right and so what I realized is they are Funding Research - there are 2 Main Areas of Research they want to Fund. Now this encompasses a very broad area. #1) they want to encompass Research on How they can Create, alright? That’s what all of this Embryonic Stem Cell Research is for and that’s why they introduced and approved of Partial Birth Abortion. For those who don’t understand what Partial Birth Abortion is - It is the most horrific thing you can imagine. They wait until a child is full grown in the womb and then, when it is ready to be born, they can turn it around inside the mother’s womb and have it come out feet first instead of head first. So they deliver the entire child alive, except the head is still in the mother’s womb, then they reach in with an instrument and Stick it into the Base of the Brain of the unborn alive child, that is his legs and arms are moving and it’s already the last instant to have its head come out, and they stick an instrument in and Suck out its Brain. That is what Partial Birth Abortion is and the reason they want it is #1) they want it for Organ Donations because when they have the full term child that’s ready to be born, they immediately take it into the next room and takeout all of its Organs to be used for Organ Donations, so they make a pile of Money on this. Now, you see, the Hospital is Not Allowed or the Unit that’s doing the Abortions is Not Allowed to Sell the Babies, but what happens is the way they get around that is that these Donor Companies come in and Dismember this child and they pay a Huge Fee for the use of the Room and that’s the way they get around Buying the Baby’s Dead Bodies, OK, that’s the way they do it. And then, they Sell these Organs on the market for Huge amounts of Money. How it started was this - the Troops in American, Germany and England were all given Vaccinations - they were given Vaccinations of horrific things and they didn’t have the Flu - they had Horrible Diseases - there was Internal Bleeding and Bleeding from their Mouth and Bleeding from their Intestines and all of this - this isn’t rank and file Flu - this is a totally different Disease - they were Injected with It and then, they all started getting Sick and then, after the War, after World War I when they started coming home, then in America, the Government said, oh, these men are coming home with the Flu and all of the other people are going to get it, so you better line up and get Vaccinated. Thank heavens for your website! I was flipping channels on television when I came across a program (infomercial) featuring Dr. Day. . . I became curious as the brother of my best friend has cancer and began looking her up on the web. As I am currently working towards a degree that requires a research proposal plan, I had many questions regarding the validity of her claims—which your article addressed. My comment is this: IF the Lord gave her the cure (or steps to cure) for her cancer, why is she SELLING the plan and not freely sharing the information with the medical world and the public? I am a Christian and have a hard time believing that God would intend for her to profit monetarily from her experience! Most incidences of Jesus curing someone in The Bible ends with Him instructing people either to keep quiet or spread the word. I do not recall one instance where He instructed anyone to go out and charge people to hear the news of their experiences.

Here's Why People Believe In Conspiracy Theories

What, in the name of our alleged lizard overlords, convinces a person to believe in conspiracy theories?
According to a pair of new studies published in the journal Applied Cognitive Psychology, conspiracy theorists—and there are a lot more of them than you may think—tend to have one thing in common: they feel a lack of control over their lives.
Jan-Willem van Prooijen, associate professor in social and organizational psychology at VU University Amsterdam, has been studying conspiracy theories and those who believe them for six years. “When I started this research, one of the things that I really found astonishing was how many people believe in certain conspiracy theories,” he says.

Conspiracy theories often crop up during times of uncertainty and fear: after terrorist strikes, financial crises, high-profile deaths and natural disasters. Past research suggests that if people feel they don’t have control over a situation, they’ll try to make sense of it and find out what happened. “The sense-making leads them to connect dots that aren’t necessarily connected in reality,” van Prooijen says.
He and his team showed that the opposite is also true: feeling a sense of control is protective against believing conspiracy theories. In one of the studies, they split 119 people into two groups and told one group to write down times when they were totally in control; the other group was told to jot down a time when they didn’t feel in control. (This gave one group a powerful feeling, while the other felt helpless.)

The researchers then surveyed their attitudes on a building project in Amsterdam that accidentally destroyed the foundations of many houses, and which many people believed was a conspiracy of the city council. But those who had been primed to feel in control were less likely to believe the government was up to something evil. “We found that if you give people a feeling of control, then they are less inclined to believe those conspiracy theories,” he says. “Giving people a sense of control can make them less suspicious over governmental operations.”

The Dutch, of course, aren’t the only believers. The second experiment looked at survey data from a nationally representative sample of Americans conducted in the last months of 1999 leading up to Y2K. “The more that people feared the millennium bug in 1999, the more likely they were inclined to believe in other conspiracy theories, ranging from Kennedy to the government hiding evidence of the existence of UFOs,” van Prooijen says. The best predictor of believing in one conspiracy, he says, is believing in another.

This finding backs up data from another group last year, which found that 37% of surveyed Americans believe that the FDA is deliberately preventing the public from accessing natural cures for cancer because they’re beholden to drug companies.
These beliefs can be very hard to change, but giving people a feeling of control could help dispel some conspiratorial beliefs, the new research suggests—a finding that could prove useful worldwide. “There are no doubt cultural variables influencing it,” van Prooijen says. “But the essence of conspiracy theorizing is, I think, universal in human beings. People have a natural tendency to be suspicious of groups that are powerful and potentially hostile.”
