Finding happiness inside a fishtank

Did you know that 'you' don't exist? The brain does exists but 'you' are a product of the brain. So, who owns who? Well, the brain came first and it is the one that physically exists, then 'you' came along. Actually, there are many 'you' as you are only an idea. If you ask people who they are they'll tell you different ideas. And if you are an idea, how could an idea be happy? Well, that depends on its history and what it wants to be. Some ideas imitate other external ideas. Others follow their own way or expend their time finding solutions to problems.

What is what makes you happy?

Panchito, people who have near death experiences find they can think independent of the brain.

The soul generally resides in the brain and leaves the body upon death. Your soul is you and continues to live even after the flesh body dies.

Tai
To live in the heaven beyond the cycle of reincarnation and to help others walk on that path. Our time is short on earth. Make the most of it by preparing your soul for the journey ahead. You can toil endlessly on earth to make life better here, but at any time, you can be snatched away. Preparing yourself for life after death is not forsaking your present life and your job here, but is a necessary work for aware souls who wish to minimize and avoid unnecessary suffering later.

Happiness for me is reaching the standard of heaven while still alive and helping others along that path.

Tai. Thanks for sharing your thoughts

I would say that to find happiness, first people would need to stop doing what prevents them to find it. What are those things? Kids for example are brought up listening to marketing and ads. They live in a buyers culture that tells them they need things they don't need and which puts them on stress. It goes deep. They eat the advertised junk and barely move around. They are told how to be good to achieve the high status established by the marketers. It all becomes a junk pond with medicines and buying-competing zombies worried about what to buy next clueless of their condition. They live inside a junk ideological bubble. So first, all that junk mentality must go before anything can happen. It does not matter if they are rich or not as they are part of the same bubble.
