Unpopular AOC

So it seems the more AOC opens her mouth and spouts Lib rhetoric nonsense and the more people get to know her, the less she's liked!

Bad news for AOC's fawning followers celebrity worshipers -

Polls: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Less Popular Than Trump, Hillary

[freebeacon.com]

Celebrity freshman congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) is not as popular as her many social media admirers would like to believe. In fact, recent polling suggests that AOC is pretty widely despised, even in her home state, and even within her party.

A March 15 Gallup poll, for example, found that just 31 percent of Americans view Ocasio-Cortez favorably, compared to 41 percent who view her unfavorably. It appears that as more people have gotten to know the congresswoman, the less they like her. The last time Gallup surveyed AOC's favorable rating was back in September 2018, prior to her election to Congress, when 50 percent of respondents had no opinion or had never heard of her. That number has shrunk to just 29 percent over the past several months as the congresswoman has aggressively made a name for herself on Capitol Hill.

Gallup's finding are in line with those of a Fox News poll of registered voters conducted in February, which found that Ocasio-Cortez had a favorable rating of just 26 percent, and an unfavorable rating of 39 percent (-13). In that poll, 34 percent of respondents didn't offer an opinion or said they'd never heard of AOC. Ocasio-Cortez did, however, perform better than Socialism, which had a favorable rating of just 25 percent, and an unfavorable rating of 59 percent (-34).

The latest Gallup survey on Hillary Clinton's popularity, from September 2018, found the twice failed presidential candidate was viewed more favorably than Ocasio-Cortez. Clinton's favorable rating was just 36 percent, a record low for HRC, but still better than AOC's most recent number.

Additional polling from Ocasio-Cortez's home state of New York offers a similarly grim assessment of the congresswoman's popularity. Not only is she the among the least favored high-profile New York politician, AOC also has a 30 percent unfavorable rating among New York Democrats, and a favorable rating that fails to crack 50 percent.

The poll, conducted by the Siena College Research Institute in March, also found that large majorities of New York residents favored Amazon's now scuttled plan to open a second headquarters in Queens, and thought that Amazon's decision to abandon the project—thanks in no small part to Ocasio-Cortez's aggressive opposition—would be bad for New York. Respondents placed the most blame for the Amazon project's failure on AOC—38 percent labeled her a "villain" in the saga, while just 12 percent regarded her as a "hero."

From PJ Media -

She's favored by the usual suspects: adults 18-24, minorities, and women. But it's significant that her largest favorability deficit is among men (-24) and whites (-24).

She's been in office less than three months and the more people become aware of her, the less they like her. But it doesn't matter how many Republicans like her — or men, or whites. Her constituency is the growing radical movement in the Democratic Party. That's her power base and she will only get stronger as the radicals assert control over the party.

Along with Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, AOC and her fellow freshmen lawmakers will continue to receive notoriety, driving the Democrats ever leftward. If they can't be stopped, it's very possible that a fellow radical will actually win the Democratic nomination and become an easy target for Trump in 2020.

Being rude and pushy, then tell everyone you're in charge didn't go over well?

If AOC wants people to stop calling he stupid she should stop saying stupid things or coming up with moronic plans like the green new deal

Cortez is a commie bartender who won a midsummer primary with 13% voter turnout in a district riddled with illegals

She does great with people with low IQ and who think government will fix their life.

"I'm the boss."

What a self absorbed, radical, ignorant, attention starved waitress who is single handedly wrecking BU's academics every time she opens her stupid pie hole.

Alexandria, like most millennials, has never gotten a bad grade, or lost at a game. Her self esteem is off the charts, and it shows. Ignorance like hers would be embarrassing to anyone with a clue.

I'm as liberal as they come, but I'm not a fan of grandstanders. And that's what she is.

Such a shame that AOC is so unpopular now. She peaked months ago when nobody knew her.

Then she flamed out.

New poll shows AOC in trouble

A poll released Thursday shows freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is facing negative reviews from voters.

The Quinnipiac University survey, which also included multiple questions about various issues and figures in the Democratic Party, shows 36 percent of respondents gave Ocasio-Cortez an unfavorable rating while 23 gave her a favorable one. Thirty-eight percent said they didn't know enough about her.

Thirty-six percent of respondents said Ocasio-Cortez is a bad influence on the party while 33 percent of voters said she was a good influence.

"All is definitely not A-OK for AOC. Most voters either don't like the firebrand freshman Congresswoman or don't know who she is," Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll, said in a statement after the poll was released.

The Quinnipiac University poll interviewed 1,358 likely voters nationwide via telephone from March 21-25. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.3 percentage points.

Earlier this month, a Gallup poll showed a stark uptick in Ocasio-Cortez's unfavorability. For the first time since she took office, the majority of Americans viewed the New York lawmaker negatively, increasing from 26 percent to 41 percent.

Ocasio-Cortez Appears On 'The Price Is Right,' Guesses Everything Is Free

[babylonbee.com]

HOLLYWOOD, CA—Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was pumped to attend a taping of The Price Is Right in Hollywood this week. The special guest introduced herself as a U.S. representative and rising star of the Democratic Party. Things got interesting when the game began and every time it was her turn to estimate the price of an item her answer was "free."

Items included a set of Italian leather handbags, an all expenses paid trip to the Bahamas, and a brand new 2019 BMW 330i, at all of which Ocasio-Cortez shouted, "FREE!"

When host Drew Carey asked if Ocasio-Cortez understood the game's rules, she told Carey not to cat-call her and then responded, "Don't hate me cause you ain't me."

She went on to guess that diamond earrings, a set of jet skis, and even a giant pile of cash were all free. Carey unveiled a package containing world-class healthcare and she said, "Definitely free." She was at one point puzzled by a stack of croissants but eventually guessed that they also were free.

Cortez was never able to advance to the game proper, and as the credits rolled she appeared visibly upset. A hot mic picked up comments she made in frustration, claiming that the game was rigged by capitalism and that "everybody knows giant piles of money are free, that's like basic economics 101".

Origin
In mid-April 2019, an image supposedly showing U.S. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez guessing that the cost of an item was “free” during an appearance on the daytime television game show “The Price is Right” started circulating on social media:

This is not a genuine photograph of Ocasio-Cortez on the show. This image was created for a satirical article that was originally published by The Babylon Bee.

This viral image combined a photograph of the congresswoman during her appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” in June 2018 with a still from an October episode of “The Price is Right.” The image of her was slotted directly in front of the center contestant. Here’s a collage showing the doctored image (top), a genuine still from “The Price is Right” (bottom left), and an image from “The Late Show” (bottom right):

Eagle-eyed viewers may notice that the contestants on either side of AOC in the doctored image don’t quite match up with their real-world counterparts. The Babylon Bee told us via email that their appearances were altered “to make it less real—that is, less directly tied to an actual episode that aired.”

Misinformation is a real threat

Ha Ha hAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa The uncomfortable truth is that Babylon Bee is all about us evangelicals and it’s not all pretty. Although the site let’s us down a bit easy as we enjoy the mirror served up in the form of humor.

What started as a story about @AOC on a satirical website also spread on social media as a standalone altered image. Without context, it is inevitable in today's misinformation age that some people will see, believe, and keep scrolling: [bit.ly]

I hear AOC speaking voice for the planet and here we have two right wing nuts who mock AOC
and distortions that are pure 100% rubbish.

Wow, Love Benny Johnson of Turning Point USA. So cute. What a smile. Must watch the funny video of him interviewing OAC's constituents.

So anyway, another poll that AOC is very unpopular in her own district. I think it's because she's a big mouth. And arrogant. And idiotic. And an attention hog.

EXCLUSIVE: OCASIO-CORTEZ COULD HAVE AN AMAZON-SIZED PROBLEM IN HER HOME DISTRICT

[dailycaller.com]

Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may have an Amazon-sized problem when she seeks reelection in the state’s 14th District in 2020.

Washington, D.C.-based attorney Dan Backer, founder of the Stop The AOC PAC, spoke to The Daily Caller about recent polling data from the self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist’s home turf.

Backer began by explaining what drove him to create a PAC to challenge Ocasio-Cortez in the first place: “My family came from Russia when I was a baby, and I grew up hearing what they went through. And I have a strong dislike for that ideology.”

Quoting a line often repeated by former President Ronald Reagan — who got it from 18th-century Anglo-Irish statesman Edmund Burke — Backer noted, “‘The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.’ Someone had to stand up and do something. If we don’t challenge socialism, we let it win.”

What Backer did was send people into Ocasio-Cortez’ district. “We did robocalls and text message polling and compared the data. We expected to see some variation, but the data was almost identical.”

The results, Backer explained, revealed a possible weakness: Ocasio-Cortez’ position on bringing a new Amazon headquarters to Queens.

Data collected by canvassers for the Stop The AOC PAC, from over 700 homes in her district, indicated that Ocasio-Cortez may have other weaknesses, as well. Despite enjoying a reasonable level of nation-wide fame — or infamy — on-the-ground polling suggested that the freshman lawmaker was not terribly popular or even well-known in her own district.

The data showed that over a third of the households surveyed weren’t familiar with Ocasio-Cortez, and 44% had an unfavorable view of her. Only 20% had a favorable view of the freshman lawmaker.

But the issue that truly made her vulnerable, according to Backer, was her vocal opposition to the Amazon HQ deal that was scrapped several months earlier.

“I think she’s very beatable,” Backer concluded. “Her district — they don’t know her, they don’t like her, they don’t trust her. As long as we give voters the choice, they’re choosing to turn away from her.”

According to a video posted Thursday by Turning Point USA, Ocasio-Cortez may have one additional problem: the “S” word.

(Watch the video at the link)

Caller alum Benny Johnson roamed through Ocasio-Cortez’ home turf, asking everyone he met how they felt about socialism.

“Socialism is supposed to be like … everybody gets the same amount? I want to do better than people if I work harder,” one gentleman responded.

Another said America already had enough “freeloaders,” and another added, “I like capitalism. I like the fact that I earn my bucks, and I spend them on moi, which I am going to now.”

This, channeling Fox News’ seemingly round-the-clock obsession with tearing down Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, reveals something deranged about the Republican need to concoct new bogeywomen.
