Date: September 16, 2007 10:48PM I use wide-mouth mason jars if I want to store something - glass is inert - no leeching.
I don't know of any inert plastic. Re: Is plastic ok?

Date: September 17, 2007 01:25AM glass is fine in the fridge but not in the freezer. actually, i got some large square glass containers from ikea that do fine in the freezer. the lids don't screw on so when stuff freezes and expands it can push up the lid and not crack the glass.
if i don't have a glass tupperware or a mason jar i put stuff into the fridge in a bowl with a plate on top. Re: Is plastic ok?

People make freezer-jam this way. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
