goodness gracious!

my eyes , however, were riveted to all the hats and kerchiefs that people were wearing

These are my sage observations about men in hats:

1) they look good in 'em
2) i don't trust 'em smiling smiley

Here's my explanaton, Jodi --

* * * * * *

Yesterday I posted an article on this thread --

And LTF came running over to Reply, like usual, and then he posted 3 New Threads, that were all Blank, (after I put "see what I mean", he changed two of the blank ones to some topic, so that my post that said "see what I mean" sounded out of context -- it's a little trick you can do) In other words, this Thread was really Blank, but then after I Replied, he changed it to make me look stupid) so I knew he was trying to Bury my post in the above thread, so that's why I put "See what I mean" in my above post.

So "see what I mean" means -- after I post some article with "Israel" or "AIPAC" in it, LTF always has to retaliate and be 'mean to me', and either insult me or post some other weird stuff in response. And of course, he's 'buddy/buddy' with Suzie, so she has to help him out and so she has to join the bury brigade, so all my posts about Israel/AIPAC will be buried before Jose gets back tomorrow to comment....

HAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!

(It's complicated smiling smiley )

No, they weren't blank at first. I made three posts with links to anti-semitic articles, then decided most people wouldn't understand that I wasn't being serious, so I blanked them out. Then I decided positivity was a better choice, so I replaced 2 of the 3 blank posts with positive messages. The third had already timed out (as "blank"winking smiley so I couldn't edit it any more.

Not true. A projection.

Projection.

I wasn't trying to bury your posts. I was trying to out-conspiracy you with multiple threads on the same ridiculous topic, then decided that positive messages would be a better choice.

How is responding to your posts with my own (strong) opinion retaliation? And when have I "been mean" to you or insulted you, Lois? Can I have an example please?

"the same ridiculous topic"

Are you saying "Israel/AIPAC" (should be "ZIONIST/AIPAC", really, not "Israel" per se) topics are "ridiculous"? I think they are relevant to everyone's worst fear -- WWIII - Nuking Iran.

Those topics are ridiculous because as you state, they are relevant to "everyone's worst fear." However, fear will never help nor heal the planet. Therefore, by in effect spreading fear with these articles, you are in fact hurting the world, not helping it.

Bringing something to light so it can be acted upon and stopped is not spreading fear. If I told some one their house was on fire that would not be creating fear. That would be saving them. Pretending something doesn't exist or is not happening does not make it go away. You can't put out a house fire (heal it) by just ignoring it.

Oh, so you admit "ZIONISM/AIPAC" range">IS relevant to Nuking Iran. That's a step in the right direction.

And I think by posting such articles, I am BRINGING TRUTH TO LIGHT, because the 'ZIONISM/AIPAC' infuence on American Foreign Policy, (for example - bombing Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran), had previously been a taboo subject (because of the threat of being labeled "anti-semitic"winking smiley until just recently (thanks to John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt’s new bestseller, The Israel Lobby) Now that the situation has been brought to light and is being discussed and examined, maybe we will have change, instead of more wars.

If you recognize that the house is already lost, then trying to save it is a waste of energy.

Choosing not to waste one's energy on a situation is not the same as ignoring it.

As I mentioned once before, cursing the darkness, or analyzing it with a magnifying glass, does not illuminate the room.

I prefer to spend my energy lighting a candle.

Elnatrual and LTF...
It looks to me like you both have valid reasons for your view points. It also seems to me that you both mean well but have differing approaches as to how it would be best served.

Could some mutual appreciation for the others differences solve the illusion of contention ?

I've noticed a fair bit emotion flare up on this board about various things which seems kinda strange given the topic that brings us here and the fact that everyone seems prety commited to helping make the world a better place.

I reckon that if we extend the respect that everyone here deserves it could solve this problem before it even becomes one. We renegades of convention should lead the way in the paradigm of peacefull conduct smiling smiley

Thanks for playing referee, but LTF and I actually know each other. We met many times together back in FL with the Raw food scene there. All is under control : )
