then some people would just argue

so the new topic is "unifying force"

what is it?

does it exist?

what is its intent?

what do u think?

why are we here?

why are you here? ( like on this planet, i mean)

what is the meaning of life? tongue sticking out smiley

okay... GO!!

i'm timing everyone here.. and keeping stats...

then we will have almond milk and macadamia cacao cookies for everyone during celebration event

Hmm... using 5 words, define the nature of creation ! smiling smiley

Or are we to define our own character by describing the meaning that things have to us ? if this is the case I think we are describing ourselves, not creation.

I personly think that inspirit probably has the most profound understanding of it.

We love you, La V!

I'm fasting (day 3), so I'm feeling really blissful one moment and really vulnerable the next. Guess that's just the nature of detox. I can't be around anything that feels negative right now because it really affects me and makes me feel sad or scared or resentful, or whatever the case is. (No political threads for me!) Gotta stay in that river of almond milk-- it's etheric almond milk so I'm still technically water fasting, right? ;-)

La Veronique, when I first encountered you on the board I didn't know what was up. i thought, 'Wow, this woman is OUT THERE!-- really high on raw food or something!!.' Well, I got to know you and you are SO GENUINE, a real embodiment of love. You're amazing. You always enlighten us.

(Showers of rose petals and sun sparkles for the wonderful La V.)

Hey La V, I am always afraid you will stop posting here and I will never read you again. What a great spirit you are.

We are here (everywhere) right now we are here, confined to this planet, to grow and learn, teach and live. We are individuals and are all intricate parts of one Universe. We are God and we are with God. WE are eachother and we are with eachother. Do I make any sense at all?

It's called entropy. It works faster for dogs than for people,

<<La Veronique, when I first encountered you on the board I didn't know what was up. i thought, 'Wow, this woman is OUT THERE!-- >>

i'm still OUT THERE... and... well, to be honest... i haven't seen an asteroid floating by for a while...

i'll wait... hanging on to this ring/branch of saturn ( by my hemp tinted fingernails)

i drank some more almond river of life milk... so i think my gills can handle all those saturnian noxious gases...

by the way,

did u know that saturnians DIG macadamia cacao cookies?

they kissed me on the nose with their antennaes after they ate some

hey, tell light, arugula, josay, pakd4fun, inspirit and yerself to make more batches of it

i'm gonna need some more til i crack the saturn matrix of healing

and will then bring the info to earth?

why not?

aliens keep visiting earthlings, trying to kidnap us , do surgeries and whatnot to "learn" about us and take info back to space

all i am doing is trying to figure out how nick nolte got to the top of the building without climbing a set of stairs

a la the film "Peaceful Warrior"

Lightform is beyond knowing

but i wanna know... and saturnians tell me they know the secret smiling smiley

LaV,

My collies are fine, thanks for asking, but they are 9 years old. Life expectancy is usually 10-12 for them. I am hoping to get at least 13. We will see.

i used to think the same way about people
since i was a teenager
i'd worry that they would no longer be around
people whom mean a lot to me

this year two people whom were dear to me
passed away
the guy left behind a newborn baby
the woman left behind her kids

it was a shock to everyone
they were both so filled with goodness and spirit

i couldn't believe it

so i treat life like
it may be over tomorrow

Arugula, We put our Collie to sleep last year at 14 1/2. If it weren't for Hurricane Rita being so hard on her she might have gone longer. She was a fantastic being. She had literally saved lives. We miss her. I am glad I cherished her everyday of her life. She taught my husband a lesson about cherishing life.

LaV, She was so amazing, always sweet and gentle and always had a smile on her face.

One time we were working in our yard when we lived in the city. I heard our elderly neighbor make a startled noise. I turned around to see her standing with a pit bull staring her down. Before I could even turn my body, Mardi (our collie) was between her and the dog. She chased that dog out of the yard and she stopped right at the curb.

Another time my husband fell asleep while our daughter, then three years old, was playing on the porch. I was already napping and when I woke two hours later she was nowhere to be found. I ran outside and could hear her but we live in the piney woods and the noise of cries were bouncing off the woods from everywhere. I had no idea where to start and she was so far away. My husband came out of the house just as our collie came out of the woods and we knew exactly where to look. We ran straight through where Mardi had come out, right to our girl. Ten minutes after we got back it was dark. She had a very special dinner that night.

This is a great story even though no lives were saved. We had a big party and lots of families came. The yard was full of activities. I was giving rides on one of our horses to all the children. One little girl didn't want to. Her stepdad was chasing her around the yard trying to make her ride and she was crying "No, I don't want to." It became quite a scene and everyone stopped to watch, kind of dumbfounded. Mardi got between them and started this kind of high pitched talking bark she used to do. It was like she was telling him "Leave her alone." She wasn't being aggressive at all but the guy was trying to get away from her and she wouldn't quit. He was saying "Ok, I won't make her ride." After a bit I finally told her "enough." I was so proud of her, especially with so many people to see it.

She was very awesome!!

Hey pakd4fun--

Those are wonderful stories! Animals are wiser than us at times, and they can be so loving.

I had a cat who was my best friend for almost 19 years, and sometime when I feel like writing the whole thing out I'll tell the story about the beautiful way she assured me that all was well after she died. It was really quite miraculous and will fit right in with the topic.

I would love to hear the story of your cat Kwan. I had a cat nineteen years also. I got him when I was four and he died when I was twenty-three. He, my sheltie and my horse kept my head above water through a really hard childhood. I am so lucky to still have my horse, twenty-nine years now. Animals are teachers and healers like I have never found in human form, maybe I just accept them more. Aside from my family, I greatfully devote my life to them.

yeah.. I love animals alot. Strange thing is that I live a life fairly devoid from contact with them. Yet on the occasion when I have an encounter with them I find their sentient spark as well as their diversity and pure nature so awesome.
They are our non human brothers and sisters realy winking smiley

I was amazed to learn a while ago that they now have guide dogs which are specialy trained for people with epilepsy, that sense when someone is going to have a fit 10 or 20 minuites before hand and warn them. Like WOW !

Then there is the fact that they have some kind of attunement with the planet which allows them to pre-empt natural disasters like in the 2002 Tsunami where very few animals were caught due to this.

Cool creatures of the Earth !

Lightform--
It's going great, thanks! I'm at the end of day 5, and I haven't had any low energy, weakness or nausea. Of course I'm not doing a true water fast. I started out on water for a couple days and realized if I was going to take Jonathan to the gym and live a life (not just rest all day), I was going to have to have something more substantial, so I added a little MasterCleanse lemonade to my distilled water regime, and it did the trick.

Yesterday, day 4, I started to really feel in that peculiar zone of luminous calm and inner peace that only fasting brings (always makes me go "Oh yeah, now I remember, this is what it feels like."winking smiley. I'm so glad I got to that point, because once you get to the love-joy-peace-and-bliss stage of fasting, even if it isn't there every minute, you're hooked on its current and you can easily keep fasting till your body and mind say to stop.

Anyway, it's going great! ;-p (I do get carried away sometimes.)

Awsome.. thanks Kwan smiling smiley
I'm seriously thinking of doing a couple of days water fast this week. I prety much only eat raw fruit and veges now but I find I eat too much. Like living food doesn't make me feel full so I often eat when I don't need to, its a psychological habit I'm working at changing. I think fasting will help too.

All collies go to heaven.

I wish I believed in heaven.

But to get back on topic, I think the most important (and most difficult thing) is this:

Love your neighbor like you love yourself. No matter what.

Who can do this?

what is stranger:

1)some people love themselves more than their neighbours

2)and some people love their neighbours more than themselves

depending on who u are one of these things comes easier for you ( others)

i say that u must first do #1 thorougly

before you can proceed to #2

this is the only way for true equality to emerge

i'm sure Jesus loved himself too

if not, it would have been blasphemy

Hmm.. yeah I tend to agree Ver.
I think that loving others without love for self can become martyrdom or rather have negative emotional associations. Although hmm... helping and caring for others can premote inner peace too. I don't know, maybe any intention made in the name of love is good !
