my favorite line was

" I ..........iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii yahhhhhhhhhh aaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

am caaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAaaallllllLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

lllllliinngggggggg

youuuu uuuhhhh UUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

so gorgeous

thanks again

oh yeah, the one i saw on you tube

was like a hundred people ( at least)

dressed in white robes ( though some of them were sitting down)

and someone named javetti? and another lady was singing

and it was such an eery set up

with the high way signs and gas station and all

but it was really cool

oh yeah

kit

do u know more about that song?

what was the inspiration for it?

who wrote it?

like i said.. i just like that ONE line ( ha ha)

but the feeling i got surrounding it was cool

i guess it also depends on who is singing it

it also seems like there were a lot of artists who had the same title

of "calling you"

but they were entirely different songs

but anyhow

i like the one i saw
with the white robes

and all

not sure where it was happening

looked like some cathedral or something like that

anyways

okay...

Hi la_veronique,

I'm so glad you liked it. I know it only from the movie Bagdad Cafe which I saw a long time ago. Maybe it was written for the movie? It's performed on the movie soundtrack by Jevetta Steele. Back then I tried unsuccessfully to find the song at a music shop. I think Jevetta is better known now. I've heard Jeff Buckley and/or Bob Telson wrote it. I remember thinking how well it fit the movie.
