Date: February 29, 2008 07:54PM i have something similar that i paid $250 for, second hand. it juices lots of things though, hard veg and fruit as well as leafy greens.
if it's in your budget and you want fresh juice every day, go for it! at $2/1oz shot it pays for itself in home use very quickly. i imagine you could resell it for close to the original price too, if you ever wanted too. i would just check the manufacturers recommended retail price and if any stores around you carry it and compare that, along with shipping, to see if it's still a good deal. Date: February 29, 2008 09:08PM Thanks a lot Coco.I have a champion Juice though,I just want it for wheatgrass.
I do have also a Jack Lalane one that I would love to sell it.I really do not like it,and do not advise to anyone. The one that my husband wants to buy is plastic made, eletric and it is $54 +$14 SH. As you said,I'll check the manufacturers about the product and the price. Thanks again. Re: Do you know anything about this eletric wheatgrass juicer?

Date: February 29, 2008 10:57PM i bought a hand crank thing ( made out of metal.. cost me 50 bucks)
just for greens and especially for wheatgrass but it was too hard for me to do it made me tired and it took ALL DAY to make some and it was also hard to do fruits so if you are getting an ELECTRIC one for the same price that seems like a pretty good deal i have the GREENstar which i always brag about so it does a dream job when it comes to juicing the only hang up i have about it is that it sometimes makes this squeaking noise but its a low tone so i've gotten used to it it doesn't do fruits that well but it DOES do what its name sake says it will it does the greens it definetely delivers the goods hey COCO!! wher'ed u get one that does decent job of doing fruits? if i wanted to make a half a gallon of fruits it would take me FOREVER to do it on greenstar because it gets all sloshy and mushy and i have to wash the machine parts over and over so it doesn't get clogged it only does greens fabulously it seems inimicus to more thna 4 pieces of fruit LOL Re: Do you know anything about this eletric wheatgrass juicer?

Date: March 01, 2008 01:16AM Thanks La Veronique.I believe I'll get it. I don't think that my old champion juicer does the job with the wheatgrass, and I'm tired of doing wheatgrass on the blender and drain it.I also have a breville that is a good machine and makes juices pretty good, greens and fruits, with some amount of foam though,so does the champion.
I wish I had a juicer that did the job with greens, fruits, pates with nuts and also wheatgrass.Would save time and money. Re: Do you know anything about this eletric wheatgrass juicer?

Date: March 01, 2008 03:27PM the greenstar will do all greens
it will definetely do wheatgrass in a cinch it will also make nuts ( you have to put a "blank" which is that plastic double cylindrical thing with the square opening) by pulverizing it to a powder or a more denser thing it however seems to do fruits VERY poorly ( my hang up) but i got it for the greens first and foremost so i'm happy about it i really don't know of a machine that does fruits very well if you are going to make a LOT if you are going to make it for just one glass it will be fine but more than that.. forget it LOL have fun with the electric wheatgrass maker let us know how it goes Re: Do you know anything about this eletric wheatgrass juicer?

Date: March 01, 2008 03:41PM ver, i had the green power years ago (same as green star) and to do fruit you have to put in a small piece followed by some leaves. the fiber in the leaves just pulls the pulpy fruit through. the harder the fruit the better too, soft stuff will just make a big mess and back up.
i used my machine for apples and wheatgrass every day. but it would also do watermelon with the white still on. it made terrific frozen banana "ice cream". Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
