Date: April 06, 2008 04:09PM There are special machines you can get that do just that.
Walmart has them. They have a vcr player and a dvd recorder in the same unit. About $125 last time I checked. You can have someone else do it,but probably at higher cost. Brian Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/06/2008 04:10PM by Raw1228. Re: how to convert tapes to dvd ?

Date: April 08, 2008 03:08AM I've converted a lot of VHS tapes to DVD. I push "play" in my VCR and "record" in my DVd recorder. You will need both machines, obviously.
An alternative would be to take them to a local audio/video place that does this sort of thing. However, plan to spend around $50 per tape. Might as well just buy your own. I got mine brand new on Ebay for $45 and I've been happy. Re: how to convert tapes to dvd ?
