New and confused

I thought I had this figured out... it seemed easy enough... fruits/raw veggies/nuts/seeds... sprouting, dehydrating, blending, juicing... not too hard!
Now I keep reading posts that talk about the need to eat foods or drink juices right away or the oxygen gets to them. Then this whole 80/10/10 diet.. and mono-diets.
Can someone help this newbie out! Is there a good book you can recommend? or some simple rules I should start with? I've been feeling sluggish and foggy for way too long and think this will really help.

Hi Lizzy!

If you get or got any responses to this, could you email me? I am totally confused too. :-)

My favorite book about how to be raw:

The 80/10/10 Diet by Dr. Doug Graham [] - you probably still have to order it on-line, but it's worth it.

Best one I have found about making fast, easy meals without a lot of fuss: Raw Food Made Easy For 1 or 2 People by Jennifer Cornbleet (her recipes don't always follow the 80/10/10 format, but this is a terrific transitioning book)

I also found a fantastic website for new raw recipes: []

Good luck!
