having a shitty ..everyone is a dumbass and out to get me kinda day

my bosses all 3 of them, my hubby , my mother in law the saint, my good friends , the dogs , even simon the fish....all seem to have gone sideways and stupid today

then i think how can a dozen people all be so screwed up all at once , making demands on me that i can possibly handle at this moment


maybe its me .. i didnt sleep hardly at all last night adn feeling irriatable and tired all day today and i cant find anything i want to eat/juice nothing looks appealing at all

well santa came early and left a complete 10 gallon tropical fish tank and kit for me to play with

im really diggin this fish hobby thing .. i spend so much time just sitting and watching the fish ..its so relaxing and they have so much personality

Oooh, what a great gift! My sister and I had a 5 gallon mini bow tank of freshwater fish growing up and I loved watching them. They really do have personalities!

well today is day 2 of the new year i finally got out yesterday again even after more snow adn went up to the public pool and did 45 minutes of swiming and 15 minutes of sauna and 15 minutes of whirlpool

i was being lazy an hesitant to go and i made myself JUST GO and was happy i did i felt so good afterwards i went outside and did a face wash with some fresh snow LOL INVIGORATING !

im going up to the pool again today im trying to incorperate more good habits into my day everyday ... that is my resolution nothing specific

Yeah, today hubby finally 'dragged' me to the gym (but at least I wasn't kicking & screaming) and I did 30 minutes of yoga and a few minutes on the step machine while he steamed and saunaed and then spent a little time on the treadmill. The urge to hibernate isn't as strong as the desire to feel alive and sense the invigorating surge of blood moving through the organs and limbs that comes with exercise.

Just found out today that Southwest Airlines offers a round-trip for $110; wonder if it goes to Tucson? I'm dreaming of vacationing for a week or two in a sunny, warm climate, and Tucson's where my parents live.

i went again yesterday for the laps , steam, sauna, whirlpool , felt great, made myself a nice big salad for din din , the hubby was working night shift so was just me the dogs an the fish, so i turned on the tunes and bopped around the house tidying up a bit from the xmas onslaught

thats another thing that annoys me about the holidays , so much of this packaging and wrap paper etc is non recyclable in my area >

Yeah, girls; I third your gym sentiments -- I hate it until I am there, then I love it and feel soooo good afterwards (unless it's been a really long time).

ive had a bit of a cold or congestion the last 2 days and didnt go into the pool .. i kinda think the chlorine might have something to do with it ... i really shoulda just went anwyas and just steamed an sauned it out but i kept my lazy arse in bed and watched dumb movies

btw my guppies had baby fish and i am the proud mama to 5 baby guppy fry i was in sucha panic when i saw babies in the tank but i managed to get all 5 out into a bowl of their own so they wouldnt get eaten by the other fish

thank youuuuuuuu all 5 seem to be ok and alive an kickin an eating so im hopefull they will all pull through even the one that went through the filter lol

i feel TONS better today for resting i guess and glad i didnt succumb to the nyquil like i wanted too lol i will go to the sauna tommorrow an see if i can sweat out the rest .. think i will wait on the swimming a few more days till the congestion eases up

Yeah, Jodi; I hear ya. I've been coughing for over 3 weeks and blowing my nose for 10 days -- soooo sick of snot!!!

yea kinda makes ya wonder how such small sinus cavaties can produce so much snot .. wtf is up with that?

i suspect the chlorine might also be a bit of a culprit as its definitely irritating .. its the one annoying thing about going to public swim holes that bothers me the most ... i wish i could afford a swim spa at home but at 13k thats a bit down the road

on a funny note , i took a couple of friends to a an auction tonight .. they are virgin auctioners so they had a blast but walked out with a 5$ fridge they didnt need, 3 peices of jewelry , a $600 dollar car they didnt need, 2 couches 1 chair they didnt need , and various tools and household items they probably didnt need .. i was getting worried cuz they kept bidding on stuff LOL all told they were down 1000$ at the end of the night and i was laughting my arse off at how nuts they went the tools were a great deal and they are working on their house but i told them next time i take them im gluing their hands to their thighs so they behave

i spent a whopping 10$ on 2 hardcover books that will be xmas gifts this year see ! im starting early this year !!!! =D

the addiction continues ...

the 5 baby guppies are now 7 baby guppies .. 2 more foudn in the filter .. i now have pantyhose covering the filter intake so they dont get sucked up anymore lol .. i think the female is done now .. well for 4 weeks .. cuz apparently guppies hold sperm for up to 6 months lol (the hussy !!) so i can expect 5 more hatchings lol

i put an ad in freecycle for a couple more tanks .. was thinking i would get small ones to start growing up the baby guppies ...(the parents eat them sometimes so you have to seperate them)

well ...

i now have 35 gallon and a 60 gallon in the basement that i have to clean lol .. not exactly the small tanks i was looking for haha !

my fella said to me when i was hopping up an down telling him aoubt the free 60 gallon ... "theres no point in me saying no is there?"

haahaha NOPE !! =D i am officially addicted to the hobby

on another note been going to the pool .. my sinuses thing cleared up still coughing a bit ... been out walking a mile a day for a few days .. but thigh chaffing put a stop to that ouch lol .. darn i cant wait for my chubby thighs to recede hehe

i think if i still a pair of my fellas boxer brief undershorts that might help the chaffing ... my poor thighs are so sore right now so the experiments gonna have to wait a few days till i heal LOL sorry if this is TMI (too much info but you all know me by now i am not shy haha)

all is good on the food front but i find i am sooooo bored with raw foods right now with so very little to choose from in even the biggest grocery stores around here ... i can only greet iceburg lettuce, apples, bananas , oranges and grapes with so much enthusiasm ... i think i might start doign longer monthly fasts till spring pops up

Im finding that photo taking pics of fish seems to be a side thing of having aquarium hobby .. i find myself taking so many pics of them .. very few turn out tho cuz they move so fast LOL ...

ok well ive been noticing a good trend the last week ...my size 14's jeans are starting to slide off my hips and making me have plumber crack lol

so i guess ramping up to swimming every day is really helping even tho i still look in the mirror and see a weeble wobble...

ive been having the occaisional miso broth during the late afternoon too .. its just so much darn colder then usual here and the fresh produce is seriously lacking around here as well .. more then other years .. i cant help that think the grocers and suppliers are cutting back buying because of fuel costs and economy etc.... blah !

althought its the first time ive really gone off raw since over a year now ..i really feel the need right now for the heat and the flavor im feeling safe it wont cause a torrential landslide back to cooked lol

haha! Jeans are the ultimate test. I knew I was in trouble a few weeks back when several of my jeans stopped fitting. I'm so elated to finally be back in most (but not all) of them again.

With me, photos taken and put online (by someone else-- I would have cropped them!!) from my gigs were a real eyeopener. I thought my medium blue designer stretch jeans were nice, but man, the pictures tell another story. (That harsh digital camera light reveals all!) They looked sloppy and out of place with the dressier tops I was wearing when I performed, and the lighter colored denim really adds the pounds. Soooooo.... I weeded everything out of my jeans wardrobe except 3 pairs of really dark midnight-blue jeans.

I'm getting my jeans now from www.makeyourownjeans.com. They fit really well since you send in your own measurements. You can choose several different fits from baggy to slim cut, you can choose how wide you want the leg bottoms, plus light-weight, medium-weight, or heavy-weight denim, and you can choose the color (many darks in the medium weights).

You can choose how low-cut on the waste you want them. Or you can get them with a draw-string.

You can get all cotton, or stretch.

I prefer light-weight loose jeans, all cotton. I started with semi-baggy, then went a little slimmer to the "natural" fit, but with the same wide leg bottom. They're definitely cut with plenty of room. I'll do boot-cut next time, which they say is a little slimmer still.

Mine are low-cut enough to be comfortable, but high enough to stay up. The jeans look slimming, but they're very comfortable too, and they don't stick out in the front.

They're so comfortable, I wear them to bed sometimes. My other jeans are packed up and ready to go the the Good Will.

If anyone here gets them, I'd suggest ordering just 1 pair at a time, in case the measurements need a little adjusting. After a few washings, they shrink about 1/2 - 3/4 inch at the bottom. The light-weight denim jeans seem a little longer than the medium-weight, so I'd maybe add an inch to the medium or heavy-weight length.

this is my problem with jeans too i have a short line between navel and crotch ... so the lowriding jeans fall off my hips and the high riding jeans squish me so it looks like im packin a melon up front lol

i like the boot cut jeans myself too .. i will never and really have never been aable to wear the skinny leg jeans .. i just have too much of a defined arse and thighs to pull it off .. even when i was 100lbs soaking wet i was still packin junk in the trunk
