New and confused

Date: June 18, 2008 09:49PM I thought I had this figured out... it seemed easy enough... fruits/raw veggies/nuts/seeds... sprouting, dehydrating, blending, juicing... not too hard!
Now I keep reading posts that talk about the need to eat foods or drink juices right away or the oxygen gets to them. Then this whole 80/10/10 diet.. and mono-diets. Can someone help this newbie out! Is there a good book you can recommend? or some simple rules I should start with? I've been feeling sluggish and foggy for way too long and think this will really help. thanks! Re: New and confused

If you get or got any responses to this, could you email me? I am totally confused too. :-) warmest, Christene (Americna expat in Austria - newbie rawfood eater since March 2008) www.christeneledoux.com www.innsbruckexpats.com Re: New and confused

Date: September 06, 2008 03:45PM My favorite book about how to be raw:
The 80/10/10 Diet by Dr. Doug Graham [foodnsport.com] - you probably still have to order it on-line, but it's worth it. Best one I have found about making fast, easy meals without a lot of fuss: Raw Food Made Easy For 1 or 2 People by Jennifer Cornbleet (her recipes don't always follow the 80/10/10 format, but this is a terrific transitioning book) I also found a fantastic website for new raw recipes: [goneraw.com] Good luck!
