Raw food runner

I am a marathoner. I've been training to run the Boston Marathon for the past few months. I have bean completely raw during my training. I ran a marathon last month and had a really terrible experience. Since I was away from home I didn't eat my usual high fruit smoothie (bananas). So I felt weak after the 17th mile (almost 2 hours into the race). That was my 34 th marathon-- usually the night before a marathon I eat a big meal with cooked potatoes. This has been very good fuel for me during the race.
My tummy has become super sensitive to salt and oils ( I never add any of those to my raw meals). I love how I feel eating pure fresh uncooked veggies and fruit and hate to think that for the sake of a race. I just need to find a raw way to be properly fueled for a marathon.

try a free trial at and check out super recepies.
also there are documentaries. I saw 1 of them showing some gold medalist who is raw foodist. that may motivate you as well
