Date: January 24, 2009 04:16PM my pommie eats raw broccoli, asparagus, apple, carrots,cauliflower, green beans, corn....the list he doesn't eat if probably shorter. i think it's a crack up. he gets more excited about a broccoli florette than a milkbone; suddenly he becomes mock feral and runs around the house with it, challenging us to take it away! Date: February 12, 2009 03:46PM my kitten ate a handful of raw sunflower seeds yesterday and loves to put her paw(when I'm not looking ) into my green drinks...also had a dog that loved to graze under our pie-cherry tree and eat all the cherrie pits ...crack crack crack went her little teeth! lol Re: What's the wierdest thing your pet eats?

i used to have sheepdogs that grazed the grape vines .. which kinda shocks me considering grapes are supposed to be toxic to dogs .. so im not sure what was up with that but they didnt seem to have any ill effects and lived 15 years plus i had a cat once that had this thing for licking the tv screen .. no idea why lol .. perhaps dietary lacking in static or dust or both  ...Jodi, the banana eating buddhist Re: What's the wierdest thing your pet eats?

Date: May 19, 2009 01:24AM I loved reading these posts....it's amazing how many more things dogs will eat than cats for sure! My cat is quite picky but has always loved some banana, almond or peanut butter, melons, and she goes crazy for the smell and taste of dried mangoes! Re: What's the wierdest thing your pet eats?

Date: February 23, 2011 01:32AM Jodi, I just listed to a Paul Wheaton podcast about planting poisonous plants in grazing areas so that animals can self medicate when they need to (they are attracted by scent to what their body needs the most at the time). Pretty neat huh?
