patty, how many are with you?

flying nun is a chi/min pin
who finally came out of her shell since she got out
of the shelter a few weeks ago.

switching to BARF has made an immediate difference
altho she still has major car stress/sickness

yesterday i gave her a tiny treat
(dehydrated veggies) every block
and that sort of helped

i've tried rescue remedy, recreational bones, bully sticks
and letting her sit in all possible places in the car
including my lap, but none with any success
any ideas?

just 4 critters...and a beta fish LOL
i have diva-my senior golden whom i`ve had since she was about 10 weeks old, fred-my rescue papillon who is about 2 1/2-3 years old or so and may was his 1 year anniversary with me, smudge who is my himalayan/sealpoint siamese who i rescued at 8weeks old 16 years ago, and jingles- a tabby calico like toddler/teen who is driving me nuts!! LOL she`s about 2 years old.

only idea i`d have would be sea sick pills and i`m not sure of a dosage or if they`re even ok to give to give a canine. maybe after she settles in for awhile she`ll be more mellow. tiny dogs tend to be more nervous anyways so it may be quite a battle. fred was extremmly nervous, although i`m lucky cuz he travels very well...my hubby used to call him twitch!

easy...upload your photos from your computer to www.photobucket.com
after you upload click on the pic you want to post here
down in the right hand corner there is a box that says something to the effect of address to use for posting pics on a message board
right click highlight copy
come back to the forum and click paste in your new message/reply message box and you`re done.
it sounds confusing but it`s really easy from photobucket smiling smiley look forward to seeing your babies

wow I love all these pet pics... I am going to read direction above and post pics tomorrow.. I have some on a CD at home that I'll bring to work...

fruitgirl ... love your min pin... I have a min pin @#$%& cross.. she is the love of my life.. I always say "she is not the queen of everything, but she is the princess of quite a lot" They have such personalities.. and I notice she is a sun lover too.. My little minnie loves sun spots that come in through the windows in the house or car.

As for car stress.. I used to give my @#$%&/border collie cross sea sick pills, it didn't totally take away her anxiety, but at least she would not drool as much... probably cuz it dehydrated her.. which I don't know if that is good or not... She used to be a good car rider, or so it appeared, until one time we hit the slip strips on the side of the road and went across a cattle guard too fast and that did it.. Has been a nervous wreck ever since about riding in the car.
