Date: May 16, 2008 08:39PM Its spring time here in Nj, and I want to garden too. I live in a second floor apartment, with no balcony. Do any of you have tips on how I might grow some food? Re: apartment garden?

Date: May 16, 2008 09:02PM Yes. 1) No light: sprouts do very well. 2) Low light - microgreens do well. 3) Some sunlight - greens, herbs and some veggies do very well. 3) Fruiting veggies and fruits do well in strong sunlight.
So: put your pots or garden where the will get the MOST sun....and SOME air movement...and they should be fine. Tips: Radishes will grow the fastest....along with greens like Swiss Chard. -David Z. Mason WWW.RawFoodFarm.com Re: apartment garden?
