about 2 weeks ago i got a small burn looking rash about a quarter size on my chin. now it has spread into other small patches and is around the edge of my lips.....does anyone know what this is? could it be caused by all the citrus in my diet?

I have had several rashes during detox. I had bad rashes in my arms and it went away (after it got really bad) after three days water fast. Citrus I heard is cleansing and can bring out acidic wastes from the body and could I suppose cause rashes. But if you suspect it is not detox, then I would just see a doctor, to be sure..

Take care
A Iyer

It could be an allergy to something. I get the same thing when I eat cashews.

Sounds like it could be an allergic reaction to something to me also.

i get a similar thing, a rash on my chin, when i eat grapefruit daily- not when i drink the juice, but when i eat the fruit. i eat it in a way where there is a lot of skin contact.

so if you're eating grapefruit by using your teeth to remove it from the white skin, then that could do it. my son gets it sometimes when he's eating too much citrus- but it's a burning from contact with the skin, not from internal consumption.

peace-

Yes, but you won't like it. It starts with an A and it usually has a beta lactam ring.

..don't get it sad smiley

I had a deep tissue infection once that was handled with antibiotics.. or whatever it was the doctor prescribed.

That's got to hurt seeing you use those muscles all the time to eat, talk, etc.

For topical stuff aloe vera (fresh) works for me. For poison ivy I've swabbed with hydrogen peroxide and sometimes bleach if it's really bad but that could cause scarring so maybe is a bad idea.... just my half-hazard and sometimes desperate attempts at treating myself.. and you have to be careful with mucus membranes..

I'm really clueless on this one

It's not vegan, but there's a staph outbreak at my work right now, and I got them all applying Manuka Honey topically, and taking oregano oil internally. It worked really fast, took the pain away almost immediately.

Organic was a bitch. I hated every second of it. But I learned A LOT! Highly recommended torture.
