after we loose our excess weight, will our boobs go southward, or back where they were ment to be? I don't want to look like I'm trapping them in my waist band, if you know what I mean?

In the first year or so of being raw I lost a lot of weight (that I didn't necessarily want to lose), and yes, they disappeared, along with my butt.. )-:

but I'm happy to tell you that I have now gained back all my weight while easily maintaining the raw diet (I guess it took about another year), and my boobs and butt are just fine and dandy thank you very much!

I've seen a few posts on this subject where women have reported a growth in breast size after going raw ... hmmm interesting... (-:

hmmm? I guess maybe it just depends on the person and what you looked like before gaining all of the weight? Or maybe in a strange dingy way it's kinda like christmas, some things you like, some you don't. LOLOL! !

I am so embarrassed to ask this, but my wife wants to know if anyone else has experienced that their periods come a lot more frequently when Raw. She used to have a very irregular cycle, and now not only are they regularly coming, but seem to be coming much more frequently (every 21 days or so). The good news (she reports) is that for the the first time ver they are without cramps (she used to have debilitating ones).

I apologize for (a) coming into your girls only post and (b) hijacking it with this question, but I couldn't bear to start a new topic.

i guess it depends on several factors; your age, how much weight you want to lose. skin may not entirely spring back.

Not a problem at all! How old is your wife? I'd think if she is in child-bearing years, that would make sense.

I'm 34. I have about 80 pounds to loose, but I work out daily. 4 of those days are with a personal weight trainer

She is 30 (about to be 31 next month) -- we have two kids. She will be relieved to hear that, at a minimum, this isn't completely off the wall.

Thanks.

cdf - don't be embarrassed! I think it's wonderful that you are supporting your wife by enquiring about stuff like this!

from what I've seen on forums such as these, it is more common to get less frequent periods when going raw. However, as luna said, it will probably just balance out in time. All kinds of weird things seem to happen as our bodies adjust!

Also, the general consensus seems to be, as your wife is experiencing, that physical (and mental) discomfort diminishes/disappears.

very best wishes
lisa m

ps - go on - I dare ya - start a new topic (;
