watermelon salsa???

does anyone remember the recipe for this?

all I can remember is that it involved sweetcorn, ginger, chillis and avocado...

help please...?

i might be the one that raved over it & brought it up in the first place...i think it was a watermelon ....gazpatcho soup???....or am a dreaming???.....let me check my files & i'll let U know...

(my had nearly everything in it, also some tahini, ginger, lemon juice, etc. etc. ..it is sweet/sour/savory/MINDBLOWINGLY DELICIOUS...& haven't made it yet this season...good reminder!)

yes Basia, gazpacho, that sounds familiar...

we're gettin there!

from what I remember it was:
watermelon, mashed up
sweetcorn
tahini
ginger
chilli
avocado

anything else we've missed out?

shake or two of U'r best/special salt
juice of lemon & lime - to taste....
.....hmmmmmm.......
what else

was there some romaine lettuce chopped up too....???.....i think...

how much did U make lisa m? ...how much of the watermelon did U use?...
i used half a melon, when i made it...it was SOOOOOOO YUMMMMY!!!JUST REMEMBERING IT MAKES ME WANT IT NOW!! have to put it on my mental list of priorities..

I used:
1 small watermelon
1 avo
1 C soaked sesame seeds
juice of 1 lemon and 1 lime
2 sweetcorns
1 chilli
1" cube of ginger

i see...
the corn silk can be added, chopped, if U'r lucky to get it with corn, ...i used it...& i think i used a bit of cayenne powder, not chili...
