Un ripened watermelon-strange question

Date: July 21, 2008 10:42AM What does everyone do when they open a watermelon and find that it is pink and not fully ripened?
I feel so wasteful to throwing it away. Is there any harm in eating it anyways? Its not the best tasting but I just can't bring myself to toss so much food away. This usually hinders me from buying a watermelon! Re: Un ripened watermelon-strange question

Date: July 21, 2008 02:39PM I usually take it back to the place where I bought it and ask for a replacement. Otherwise you eat it.....or toss it on the compost heap.
