You're not going to do it with food. A long, detoxifying
Water Fast is called for.....WY

There is an Amazonian herb called Chanca Piedra that will break up stones in the kidneys and gallbladder. Chanca means to break and Piedra means stone, and Whole Foods sells a product by Herb Pharm called Stone Breaker. It's also marketed as Royal Breakstone Tea.

There is also an herb that Dr. Norman Walker uses for kidney stones called Cleaver's Tea.

Peace and Love.........John

Lemon/lime juice! You don't even have to go on the Master Cleanse diet to do this, just drink lots of it with your food. You don't even have to do it raw, the concentrated (and then diluted by you) stuff they sell in bottles was credited by the Journal of Urology to reduce kidney stones They call it "Lemonade Therapy"

This is a sumary of a study:
[linkinghub.elsevier.com]

This was a news blub about Lemonade Therapy:
"Lemonade Medicine
Men and women who drink lemonade may be getting an added benefit ... protection from kidney stones. Lemonade concentrate is one of the most effective ways to stop stones. That's the finding of a study in the Journal of Urology. When patients drank two liters of water every day with concentrated lemon juice containing citric acid, they had an 87% decrease in kidney stone formation."

Also, there is the apple juice cleanse, I've done this for a day and a half, and I never knew where my kidneys were before, but now I do. It didn't hurt, but you could feel the kidneys!:
[themastercleanse.org]
"Doing the Cleanse
The cleanse takes 3 days. For each day drink only apple juice and distilled water up to a gallon of each. You can mix the water with the apple juice or drink them separately.

Apple Juice - 3 gallons
Distilled Water - 3 Gallons
Strainer (sieve)
Once you have begun the cleanse you can start to strain your urine looking for passed stones. You can skips this part if you are not curious, however you should be aware that not all people will pass stones. If you don’t look, you won’t know.

Use and ordinary mesh strainer and look carefully, the can be very small but they can also be as large as a marble. Before the cleanse they would have sharp edges - the cause of the extreme pain when the sharp-edge marble is urinated out of the body. The cleanse softens the stones so they can pass without pain."

I've also seen lemon juice used to get mineral deposits off of shower head on the BBC America show "How Clean is Your House?" Just soak the shower head in lemon juice for a few hours. So I guess that the kidney stones are dissolved by the lemon the same way that the mineral deposits on the showerhead are.

In theory, acid juice dissolves stones. But in practice, it causes them.....WY

I would eliminate the acid forming foods from the diet: meat, dairy, animal products, as well as grains and any high protein foods. These foods will acidify you as you metabolize them - animal products and high protein foods with their uric acid, and grains with their phytic acids.

When you eat foods that leave your body in an acidic condition, this causes the body to leach calcium from your skeleton to neutralize the acids. This then creates the condition for calcium to deposit itself throughout your body, including in your kidneys.

A true pro you are Mr. Rose.. winking smiley

Also, along with Chanca piedra, include TCM (chinese herbalism) herb called COIN GRASS... it's dissolves both types of stones... this is VERY valuable info, and could mean anyone ever having to 1) get there gallbladders removed, and 2) have to do those risky, painful, and nasty liver/gallbladder flushes with olive oil/lemon juice, that can cause a purged stone to get stuck in the ducts.... YIKES... thank God for herbs...

Also, as far as daily foods, apples, carrots, beets, radishes, apple cider vinegar are all great to dissolve/dislodge kidney and gallbladder stones (same pathology)...
