without full supervision from a real doctor at least for the first time you try your own colonic. that device my sound convienient but there are real risks as far as sanitation and safety. do not just plug it in to a garden hose or bathroom faucet. your colon is just a thin wall between your blood and the out side world. think of it like an iv or a shot. you would not want to use a dirty needle. there may be some last layer of defence in the colon protecting you from fecal mater and fecal bacteria. make sure you don't compromise that defence. there have been cases of people getting horrible infections from simple common dirt microbes just by inhaleing them. these are not the deadly bugs you hear about on the news but they are everywhere you can stay healthy as long as you keep them out of your blood. this idea of home colonics may sound good but you should investigate who is selling this contraption and if it requires a note from a doctor at least. I am not a doctor I just have a grasp of the obvious really if you are determined that home colonics are for you be really careful sanitize every part well than do it again hostpitals have ultrasonic cleaning tanks that are used to clean everything. why do you thing tongue depressors are wrapped up like band aids?
