Yes. The starch they contain is mucous-forming, even when raw.

Depends on which seed. Buckwheat and other starchy seeds would be mucous-forming, while less starchy seeds would create little to no mucous.

It is a fruit, and not mucous-forming.

Yes, very starchy and mucous-forming. Also exceedingly low in calcium.
