I need a high calorie fruit smiling smiley

Hey, besides banana's, does anyone know of any other high-calorie dense fruits? (Besides nuts/avocados or fats) I think cantalope is another good one, but I'm not sure. Just looking for another alternative staple, rather then eating bananas all day. Thank you.

Yes I tried a cherimoya one time and I'm guessing it had a gazillion calories, it was incredibly sweet and dense. Google it and you'll get a good description of the flavor, it was quite delicious.

Mangos are a great high calorie fruit. There is also durian. Its hard though to beat the price/performance of bananas.

Too bad they're seedless and developed from a mutant.

The date is, perhaps, the highest calorie fruit. When I was down by the Salton Sea I could get numerous varieties for 45 cents a pound from this one grower.

Any sweet fruit always fills me up. My husband and both kids have analogous experience.

I only have one more fig on my tree so figs are only good for about a month and a half they are great but not a long season.
Look for fruits that are in Season as for dense fruits in the winter when it takes bananas a long time to ripen I will eat a lot of sweet papayas and oranges .

Cherimoya

Love Peace and Happiness,
