Calcium

The US RDA for calcium is 1,000 mg. McDougall says that people need as little as 150 - 200 mg. Any thoughts?

The US RDA and others are also trying to combat the osteoporosis problem that is rampant in the US, and their recommendation of getting calcium from milk only makes the problem worse. Of course, they are happy to recommend pharmaceutical solutions to the calcium absorption problem if they had something that works, but they don't.

Also, the consumption of all animal products raises the need for calcium to neutralize the acids produced by their metabolism.

Also, I wonder if cooked calcium can even be absorbed by the body for use in bones. Probably not.

Willett and co. at Harvard think the RDA is too high. They sometimes take baffling positions but this time I think they are right.

RDA is an average value for human, that complies with other RDA Values..
Obviously, since people doing RDA Values continue to be sick and have calcium levels on "normal" levels they STILL develop Osteoporosis making RDA Values USELESS if One want to keep good health.
Now We can TRY to translate those values onto our grounds: of human NOT loosing unnecessarily vitamines, energy, minerals : RAW Food Diet, but my last attempt at this gave me values, that give health, but nobody without trying cannot believe it. like 5 times smaller amount of food is being digestes producing good health, and energetic and strong body.

Calcium in inorganic, thermally processed state, and digested in one time doses, and form, recommended by RDA produces more acid than it can counterbalance, depleting body of ORGANIC calcium from bones, and tissues. Creating health damage, osteoporosis.

it IS Obvious to everybody, BUT a person, or business that can only loose from confirming the obvious, and proved for at least last 40, if not 140.. years.

.. if one CAN "get"(digest, absorb, and use without wasting energy and the very mineral/vitamine during the process, and after when returning stomach and blood to alkaline state..) MORE Calcium from an apple than 5 gallons od milk, than WHY NOT DO IT??!!

Actually the more milk You dring the more calcium you will loose because of TO MUCH OF IT..
if calcium from COW's milk could be utilized, and digested by human body, THAN 10% diluted milk would give 100% of daily RDA YET human body CANNOT Utilise that much calcium at one sitting.
That equals to acidifying body in order to digest that much calcium, of which MOST of it will NOT be used, and the rest will provide very weak quality of minerals, that will hurt our health.
