You might try Bautista date farm in California. They are organic and have raw dates at: 760-396-2337.

is there a particular way one stores 20 lbs of dates? was thinking about ordering some. will have minimum room in a fridge in my new place :/

I keep my dates in the fridge, especially the wet dates. The dryer dates, if I am going to be eating them regularly, I won't necessarily put them in the fridge if the fridge is full. However, if I stop eating the dates, they get put in the fridge so they will last longer.
